I absolutely love this place! The dishes are fantastic and the atmosphere is excellent. Love the natural wines, which I've never had before. Definitely will be returning!
Atmosphere and decor were great, but the food was overall underwhelming. 5 of the 8 dishes we ordered lacked depth of flavor. Our salad came out with all the greens on top and all the rest of the ingredients buried at the bottom and it was virtually flavorless, pieces of queso fresco were so small that you couldn't even taste their flavor in the dish. And the salad was 95% greens with very few tiny pieces of beet, carrot, cheese, or green beans. Our quinoa dish only had two very small pieces of mushroom. The sauce on our fish entree tasted like watered down tomato sauce, again lacking flavor. The red wines by the glass were lackluster. Very small by the glass menu (only 1-2 wines per style) which is unfortunate as not all guests in our party wanted to drink the same style of wine.We were seated 25 minutes after the time of our reservation. Why have reservations if you are not going to respect them? Service was decent. Highlights of the meal were the fritters and dessert.
Ambiance is great and the food is absolutely delicious
Not Peruvian inspired at all. The causa, cebiche, frejoles did not have any flavor. We only liked the dessert we liked was the lucuma mousse. As Peruvians we were really disappointed, hopefully someone from the kitchen can try the food before the serve it to the public.
Wine lovers rejoice!PLEASE come check out this new serene, clean, and pristine venue. It’s such a beautifully curated space.Their natural wine selection has something for everyone. If you’re like me and want something with a little heft, a little funk, ask about their orange wine selection.I have nothing but positive things to say about their food menu, but you don’t have to be hungry to have a good time.Share a bottle with friends on the patio and enjoy the foot traffic of neighboring BoxCar and Burleson Beer Garden.
Excellent and creative menu. Split all the small plates between 4 people, plus 2 large plates. Lengua and amaranth dishes our highlights, but all the food was great. Natural wine selection is great. Fruit Loops wine frok Austria was lively, fruity, and paired great with dinner. Definitely a hidden gem! Go and try it.
What a great experience for the vibe to the excellent selection of natural wine. Will be coming back and spreading the word for everyone to visit.
This is a great option if you'd like to have an intimate dinner safely during COVID. Make a reservation and you'll enjoy a unique small dining setting with delicious peruvian style foods and delicious natural wines. Shout out to our server Taylor, who made our dining experience far more enjoyable! There is a reason why I don't have any food photos posted. As soon as our dishes were brought to our table, it all looked too good and we couldn't wait to dig in! We ordered almost everything on the menu, and all was extremely tasty! We will definitely be back! (And I promise I'll take food pics next time)
This is a fun little Peruvian café/wine bar kind of place. Delightful staff who seemed genuine, helpful, attentive, and liked being there. On Thursday they had a few small food options, two were vegetarian. (Dinner only available on the weekends.) Interesting wines from a cross the globe that were selected with a lot of thought behind them. Really chill decor. Not a lot of seating options, but there are a few outside tables as an option. My friend said the bathroom was really clean. Staff wore masks, which is great. Convenient and pretty ample parking. Overall, I rather enjoyed the experience. Great pizza truck in the parking lot.
We had a wonderful date night here! Make sure you make reservations so you will have a seat ready. We loved the wine choices, the food and especially dessert! THEY HAVE THE BEST FLAN. We had the ceviche, fresh caught fish, half chicken, salad and flan. Great place!
