A Fusion Filipino owned restaurant. I was hoping for the same amazing food but closer to our side of town. Unfortunately no chicken Adobo but they do have eggplant adobo which is good. The lumpia is the same here but no Boba here. I drive to San Antonio often but will be spending my time at the original Sari Sari. Check it out if you’re close.
First time here on Saturday morning. We came with the car show and was invited to try their brunch menu. We got a French pressed coffee, because it’s all the coffee choice they have. Breakfast was delicious; my husband enjoyed the traditional Filipino breakfast and I got to enjoy the Ube Swirl French Toast. There’s an array of items on the menu that we want to try, so we’ll probably be back. It’s more of a fusion of different cultures but mainly highlighting the filipino flavors in their cooking. Come and try it out.
Went on Mother's Day and it was splendid atmosphere. Great service and tasty food.
First time trying Sari-sari Supper club for their brunch menu and believe it, my already high expectations were exceeded. Filipino food is generally homey, rustic, comfort food type. I've tried other restaurants which tried to make it "gourmet" and, more often than not, it falls flat. Not Sari-sari because rather than making it into something else, they managed to elevate Filipino food but still respectful of the flavors and traditions behind each dish. The place itself is very nice. If you sit at the bar, you can see the kitchen staff hard at work.Had the Tito Benny which is a riff on the traditional Eggs Benedict using roast pork belly with hints of lemon grass and spice. The yolk was perfectly runny and you have to dip the braised potatoes in there and it's like woah! Also had the Ube Swirl French Toast: thick slices of pillowy brioche with maple syrup and ube butter, melt in your mouth goodness. Will definitely be back to try other menu items. ?
Wonderful restaurant on the west side! This upscale Filipino restaurant is absolutely worth trying. The facility is very nice and clean, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the food is phenomenal. Best of all, they had fairly large portions for an upscale quality restaurant. We started with the fried calamari which was phenomenal. The calamari is mixed in with other veggies like onion, squash, mushroom and zucchini, which kept changing the texture and flavor of the plate and made it very interesting. The spicy mayo dipping sauce was absolutely phenomenal. I wish I could just buy a bottle! For the main course, I had the servers recommendation, the braised adobo ribs and good thing I did! These ribs were perfectly braised, soft, sliding off the bone. The vinegar, soy and garlic sauce was phenomenal, and it came on a decently sized bed of rice. What really caught my eye was their brunch menu, especially their Ubbe French toast. Definitely need to come try that one soon!Overall, this is a definite must try. It’s a very good date night restaurant, and they do have a date menu for two which I thought was a nice touch. For more content follow my foodie ig @my_foodieverse
So I ordered take out. When I walked in the ambience was nice. The waitresses were knowledgeable about how the items on the menu were prepared which is a plus if you don't like surprises. I ordered the braised pork belly with taro mashed potatoes. I have had Filipino food in the past but this was upscale. They are a little pricey but gave me a good portion that I could share with someone else. My food was also well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I will definitely go back for a date night!
The Supper Club is a great addition to the Sari-Sari family of establishments! We came for dinner on a Friday, walked in through the back door and was greeted, and seated right away. Very nice décor, clean and classy! Our waitress came up right away to get our orders, so we ordered the timeless classic Lumpia! The Lumpia was so good, hot, crispy, and the flavor just perfect! 10 minutes or so later our food arrived, I ordered the Red Snapper Escabeche, and when it came out I was like WOW that's beautiful! The fish was nice and crispy and had a great sauce with tasty veggies! The fish was a little over fried so it made some parts hard to eat but I still reall enjoyed it. My wife ordered the Bistex (12oz Steak) which was cooked to perfection! Tender and very tasty! We also ordered the Taro mashed Potatoes and the Wok tossed green beans! Taro wash was my favorite, and the green beans had chunks of Lechon! We finished our meal with the Mango Coconut Panna Cotta! This dessert had great flavor and was cool and refreshing! We will be back for sure, Thanks Sari-Sari for a great experience!
I was there for the Sunday that mixed soul food with philipino cuisine. It was a very unique experience. The live jazz was a nice touch. To be honest it was a little over priced.
Fantasic Mouth-Watering Flavor!Just tried this place that opened up by our neighborhood and soooo fabulous. Our server Aaron and the entire staff were super attentive and keep our drinks full and had great recommendations. We had a go at several dishes and all of them were packed with flavor and finesse. The ceviche was fresh and rhe addition of aleppo was wow. The brussels with fried peanuts and rhe braised pork were a perfect combination of rich and savory. We finished atrong with the carmelized banana cheesecake and can already say we will be back for more.If you are a foodies and love flavor then you have got to check this place out.
Completely coming back the ahi was tasty and the special had this micro cilantro superb notes on top of the squid ink pasta.
