I love this theater. It's super chill. Got bowling, great drinks, arcade, decent food. It's a good place for family fun, friends fun, parties and I like the fact it has an atmosphere fit for all. Check it out if you haven't.
Always a good time. Bowling deals throughout the week but my fave is the Happy Hour Menu.$5 poseidons and hurricanes and wine-?! Yes please.Biggest screens in Texas? Yes please.Cheap kids meals. Great service. Bowling is super great as well. We love our Santikos!
My family and I went to see Jurassic World: Dominion yesterday. We have been going to Casa Blanca since it opened, in the past year we have seen a noticeable decline in the maintenance of the facility. The only reason I am providing a review, and giving it 5 Star is because of a young man named Memo. He was working as a ticket checker at 4:00pm. I haven't been asked for my tickets in a while, so when he asked to check my tickets I was surprised. Yes, I had printed the tickets and I also had my confirmation email. What impressed me about Memo, was his personality, and the cordial way he asked for them, followed by a well articulated reason for his ask. He maintain eye contact the whole time and also made sure my family felt welcomed to the theater. He directed us to our Auditorium, and gave me a fist bump, and said "Enjoy your movie." Please tell Memo "Thank You!"
Overall it is ok. I would like for them to do better at cleaning the chairs and trays. We went to the first show of the day and the trays were disgusting and the seats have popcorn in them from the night before. Thank GOD I carry disinfectant wipes in my purse so I was able to wipe everything down for myself and my family but I shouldn’t have to do that. With all that’s going on in the world today proper cleaning and sanitation should happen after each showing. Also, I’m not sure if they have the VIP seating option like the Palladium but that would be nice to have included in this location.
Went to see Top Gun Maverick yesterday. Movie is good. If you liked the first one, I believe you'll like this one. That said I was disappointed with the Casa Blanca. Apparently, in theater dining is no longer a thing. They also no longer honor the mug refill. Most annoying is the don't accept cash at the bar. What?? How is that a thing?? And shouldn't there be something about that on the website, or when you buy tickets, or signs clearly posted??Edit: So I saw the response from the owner Greg S. I appreciate the rapid response, but it was kind of meaningless. There is no explanation of why policies and procedures changed (although I am sure it is COVID related). It sounds like this is a Santikos policy. I just find it mind-boggling that a service industry would take measures to make it more inconvenient to the customer, and encourage the use of credit cards (which increase the business's costs). Who wants to buy a gift card for purchases that they will then have to carry around and have to remember to take to the theater next time? Anyway, guess I'll take Santikos off the list of preferred places to go. Too bad, as I previously liked going to Casa Blanca.
Big open entertainment center which feels very welcoming. Ordering food was easy and easier to get when they just text you to get your food from the food lockers.Loved that seats are assigned and that they have recliner chairs. I can't imagine ever going back to a standard seat.I recommend and I'll come back here.
Really loved coming here! We got to grab drinks at the bar before our movie and watched as people bowled in the bowling alley behind it. We had a blast! They also have an arcade and lots of different kinds of food at concessions. Ooh and a coca-cola mixer machine too! Reclining seats? Amazing. My only complaint would be the parking as this place is super packed so it's sometimes hard to find a space. But even then, that's not a big deal and just goes to show how awesome this place is. Oh and also! Santikos is a San Antonio company so every dollar spent here goes back to the city so what more can you ask for?I would love if they would add some more vegan options to their menu. Right now your choices are popcorn with no butter and a veggie burger. But could we see some tofu wraps or vegan cheese pizzas please??? ?
Good movie viewing experience. Clean facility, crew is very nice. Good for families has bowling alley and game arcade. Different food options from comfort style meals, hamburger. Fries, pizza, nachos. Etc..along with usual movie going snacks.
Movie starts at 10:30 pm. It’s 10:23 pm and nothing on the screen. All of the young kids working here have bad people skills. No butter or straws in the drink area. It’s just dirty and nasty. It’s a shame SANTIKOS has allways been a go to spot. Not anymore !! Amazon and HBO MAX will get our money. It’s to expensive to go to a dirty dirty place.
Came here to see a movie 7:30 pm. No big lines to order food so that is always nice. Went to theater 7 h6,h7. Got seated just as the trailers started playing. The theater was dirty sticky and rundown. Both our seat cushions were cracked and looked so worn and were lose and rickety. We got up and left about a minute after we sat down. Told the manager 20 something kid who of course could care less and it was a bit of a struggle to get rain checks to at least go to a different location. We haven’t been to this theatre as a whole in probably over a year. I don’t know that I will even go back to try one of the main theaters with the recliner chairs with service. We were so disappointed. This used to be a nice complex but clearly it’s showing it’s age. Needs some remodeling in that theatre at least! With the prices of movies I will not settle for anything like that especially when you have so many other new nice theaters to choose from. My advice chose flix brewhouse just down the road still new and clean and less crowded.
