The pictures on the web site pertaining to the meals looks appealing but is not quality served. The nacho chips were stale and the bread for the tortas was very hard, the serving for the food is overpriced. The sodas were flat and the sprite drinks "no Bueno". However, our waitress was good, friendly, and apologetic. Their alcoholic drinks also were good. Sanchos has great mixed drinks but lacks food quality.

Enjoyed some of the best tacos here in San Antonio! Absolutely delicious. The only downside during my visit was there lack of liquor for their drinks. We ordered three times before choosing a drink where they had all the ingredients. Enjoyed being outdoors.

Secrets out with this one. Probably the best artisan mini tacos in town. You don't come here expecting the same bland flavors you can find on every other corner here in SA. No, you come here for flavor explosions, marinated meats, homemade corn tortillas, and a great time.I'm surprised I hadn't left a review here until now. Maybe I didn't want everyone to find out how awesome this place is? I hope I can still get a table after this ?We came back after a small hiatus and they added new items to the menu to include rice+beans with every order of tacos ? and new frozen margaritas flavors. After sampling the menu for the last few years, we found our usual... Pulled pork nachos, chicken tinga tacos, and a pineapple frozen marg. We tried a salad this time which was pretty tasty as well. The best way I can describe this place is 5star food with 2 star amenities. This is where the SA scene hangs out. You'll find people of all walks coming here to enjoy a casual setting with amazing dishes. Honestly, the tacos here are better than most anything you'll order on the Riverwalk. Definitely worth your time to check them out. Seating can be limited, so plan ahead. Also, it's mostly outdoors so be ready for a little outside eating. You won't be disappointed.

Cute local bar. The happy hour and prices are not great. I was hoping given the ambiance of a dive bar there would be dive bar prices. They were not. Average prices.

Finally something in San Antonio that is not a tourist trap or a chain! Live music, pretty good tacos at very reasonable prices, large selection of beers and margaritas, friendly staff, and a good mixture of locals from various backgrounds. The upper area is nice and fresh - it overlooks a parking lot but that doesn't really matter, because you'll be having fun chatting with friends and dipping into sauces with your nachos. I only wish I'd found this place a week ago, rather than the last night of my stay here.

Not a family friendly vibe but there were other families present. Really good food. Not the usual bar food at all. The pork belly nachos were a great appetizer and very delicious. Bistec Torta also flavorful and delicious. Spicy chicken mini tacos were exactly that... spicy! But so good. Cold beer on tap. This had more of a dive bar feel place with great food. Mostly outdoor seating. Indoor seating is mostly indoor but doors were always open so it still feels like you're outside. Wait staff wasn't your typical friendly feel but they were very efficient, attentive, and took care of us in a timely manner. I would take this over fake friendly and subpar service. We were extremely satisfied with the food, drinks, and service. We will definitely return.

The food is just so so and the service is lacking. We went at 3 and sat in an empty section. The server never came. When we finally went down to order he told us the section was closed but there were no signs saying that, quite the opposite it said seat yourself and the server will find you. After we sat in the outdoor space and had to go get our own food ( because “ you decided to sit up there”) we started to eat within 10 min we were told we had to move because our dog was not allowed to be up there on the outside patio. We had to pick up our plates and find a new table. The drinks were really bad we actually took 2 sips and had to leave it. I’d say if you have to eat here be prepared to be underwhelmed

Second time here this week, the food is amazing. If you like spicy, try the tinga chicken. Rice and beans are such a great addition.?Update:Ok been here 6 times in the last month and we've tried several of the dishes. The Tinga chicken is my favorite.Pork belly coming in second. They are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Yum ?You cannot go wrong with the bistec, it's flavorful and you can add spice to it with their salsa.Carnitas was also good but I prefer the 3 above. The nachos are huge, you can share them with a second person and still have chips left over.Tortas...omg the bread is amazing. Plus they add guacamole and beans into the sandwich.Go for the tacos, nachos, or tortas, you just cannot go wrong. Personally the tacos are where it's at ?The queso is some of the best queso I've had, it's a great appetizer.Service at the bar is great, the beer is always cold and the frozen margaritas are refreshing and go down way too easy.

Very chill place…I’d like to recognize server, lupita! for always taking care of us and her excellent customer service!!!

Great place to check out if you’re looking for a bite and drinks. The upstairs patio had amazing views of downtown. Drinks were affordable and adequately strong. The tacos were handmade tortillas and the empanadas were the highlight of our meal. Servers were very attentive, definitely coming back
