Found this local coffee shop while vacationing… craving REAL coffee and this place delivered. The customer service was excellent, very personal, and don’t forget to try the pop tarts!
I drove right past this place initially because I saw the giant "Freight" on the building, and not the smaller "Gold," but I easily turned around and parked right in front of the building. When you walk in the front door, the coffee shop is too the left, thru open doors that say Gold. It's kind of a cool warehouse feeling, and like you're walking into the big storage closet of the warehouse which is decorated as a cute, inviting coffee spot. I like the yellow furniture, teal wall, and unobtrusive merch areas. The straws and napkins are easily accessible in the middle of the shop. The two workers were friendly and cheerful, and my drink came out quick! The espresso is good. I can completely understand why people love this place.
Gold is one of the most consistent and delicious coffee shops in town. The cat cloud beans are delicious and the owner is dope. If you're getting coffee in SA, make this your stop.
Love this coffee shop. Their lattes are legit. I think that's what determines a good coffee shop from a great coffee shop. I like to determine my likeness more on how the coffee shop latte tastes. I would like to recommend they add salted caramel flavor to their syrups. I think that should be a standard flavor at all shops. ? this location shares a common space with a BBQ joint so you can get a coffee and get BBQ. Double win

Amazing coffee spot. I was in town from Houston and I'm so glad I found this place. I had a babycakes flavored latte which had the right balance of sweetness and the foam was so smooth.

Perhaps that's the kind of insight they could add to these reviews: X% of guests shop here more than once per week. That would let you know a lot about a shop.Anyway, I can't add anymore stars, but I'll reiterate that the coffee is fantastic and expertly prepared, and you feel like a long time friend wherever you walk in.

visiting from Dallas and I am SO glad a barista at Indy Coffee recommended I try Gold. Got a cap with hot cakes syrup and some SO espresso and it tasted incredible and dialed in great! The decor and atmosphere is awesome and the baristas were so friendly and actually had a conversation with me! I told my family how much I loved it, so an hour later they had me take them! Thanks so much for literally the perfect everything you can expect from a great craft shop. Wish I could join the cult now ;)
