Today I wanted to stop by Thai Chili not realizing the named changed to Sabai Thai Kitchen. Well, I reluctantly gave it a try and to my surprise it was excellent. I had the Beef Pad Woon Sen which was medium spice and packed with tasty flavor. The soup and rangoon appetizer were also very tasty. The service was great and the new owners were super nice acknowledging all the new customers. Sabai Thai has certainly won my business. Highly recommended!
New Owners! Food previously was very good. Having eaten at this restaurant the last 4 years, the new owners really brought something to the table that is outstanding. Everything is fresh and has far more flavor than before.
We've often ordered to go here at Thai Chili since the pandemic. Last week, we ordered several dishes for dinner and had enough for another couple of meals.We got the Woon Sen soup which was very filling with chicken. Had the garden rolls as appetizers which my Dad enjoys. We also got the shrimp pineapple fried rice, crab fried rice and pad thai with chicken.What we love is the flavor of the dishes though the Crab fried rice didn't have too much crab in it. We can count on the quality of food each time here.
Been coming here for six years and it’s our favorite local Thai. The curries are terrific. Also, I’m sitting here watching the guy running the front door and take out operation, and he’s really impressive. Busy night, lots of customers and phone calls, and this guy is keeping his cool.
While visiting the area we wanted to try several Thai restaurants and unanimously decided that Thai Chili cuisine was the best Thai restaurant in San Antonio. Friendly wait staff (His name is A) and the food was delicious and amazing and we can’t get enough of it and along with a cozy environment makes you wanna keep coming back for more. So long for now until next time we are in town and we will definitely be coming back whenever we are in San Antonio, TX. Thanks again for the delicious food and very excellent service!!

Very tasty, wife had chicken phad King, I had Thai Chile sesame chicken. Both really excellent, hers was more with ginger and garlic, which she loves, and mine had nice, crispy chicken pieces, with a delicious, sweet-ish Thai Chile sauce, fresh, crispy, but cooked, veggies (not really much heat though, which is fine with me). Looking forward to trying more dishes. Very fast service too...did a pick up order and it was ready in 15 minutes.
Impressive - amazing flavors, amazing portions. I tried the Pad Khee Mao and green tea. My wife had the Thai Chilli fried rice. Both tasted amazing. We were recommended the Woon Sen soup, which is one of the finest I have ever had. Highly recommended.
It started off with the sign on the door “we wear masks to protect our customers “. It should have read some of us, our waitress decided not to. Then we ordered the spring rolls as appetizers, major disappointment!! We got deep fried frozen spring rolls that were as thick as a number 2 pencil. No taste!! Then I ordered the lemon grass chicken with fried rice. Choosing between 1-10 in spicyness, I picked 7 as I enjoy really spicy food. My lunch date can’t even take level 1 hot, she tasted my dish and laughed because she said it wasn’t spicy at all. She ordered a glass of tea which tasted like yesterday’s tea. We sent it back and ordered a coke. She received a Diet Coke. When I got my plate it was served with white rice, I asked the waitress to please replace it with the fried. That’s when she alerted me that it’s not served with entrees during the weekend. At least the food was served hot in temperature!I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!! I usually eat at Saeb Thai and noodle at Embassy, unfortunately they were closed today for the holidays. I’ll wait for them to open instead of venturing out next time!!!
