Their store was neatly organized and spacious. The groceries were well-stocked and they had basic necessities for a quick run.We ordered their Turkey Reuben and white tea around 9:30 pm on a Monday, when all other food places were closed. They were both delicious and just right to satiate our hunger.
Lovely little place with nice staff. Prices are reasonable. We live in the neighborhood and there is a serious need for this place, so I'm glad I finally checked it out. My sister is vegetarian and they have a much better selection than Walgreens, which is where we normally go for a quick snack and some drinks.Nice outdoor seating as well!Will be going back.
I love this grocery store and I wish there were more like it. It's within walking distance from my hotel, it's very clean and chic looking, and has healthy selections. It's perfect
We ended up in here bc the airlines cancelled our flight home and we had to spend another day in San Antonio. Neat little grocery store which impressed us. Simple fresh turkey sandwiches on very good quality bread, fresh tomatoes and lettuce and actually the type of sandwich you could get at a restaurant (reasonable prices). Great variety of wine (reasonable prices) and cheeses for a small place, nice fresh baked goods and then the woman behind the counter created a cafe con leche (I am a South Florida man) by modifying very good cappuccino ingredients. I wish we had found this place earlier in our trip.
Very clean, friendly staff, small but varied selection which is nice. Cool bonus is the coffee and hot sandwiches. Prices are higher than expected, but it is in a convenient location which helps to make up for it.
Went into the store to get some coffee. Found so much more. The coffee was excellent. Will stop by next time I am downtown
I love going to Royal Blue Grocery they got good stuff, I like their Ruben sandwiches, their wine selection is good......and much more when you get the munchies?????? and you don't want to go far or to the supermarket, my favorite person there is Daniel the handsome he got great personality and great customer service ?❤✌
I don't live downtown, however I wanted to try this place out. I had to park down the street because there's no parking since it's an urban grocery store. I was greeted once I walked in. The fresh produce section and the refrigerated foods were a little bare, but the reason could be that I went at 10pm at night. They have a large wine selection and lots of alcoholic beverages. There are many gluten free and healthy snacks. They even had some household essentials here as well. Everything is a bit pricey though.
I stumbled upon this little grocery when I was on a walk with a friend. It’s super keto and low carb lifestyle friendly including just a regular type of diet ppl. Definitely check them out! I’ll be back for sure.
Looking for great coffee? Give Royal Blue Grocery a try. I suggest a name change to Royal Blue Coffee and Grocery. Ordered a Horchata for daughter who was very pleasantly surprised and loved it. She said it was better than other popular coffee trucks and shops in town. I had had a vanilla/cinnamon latte it too was very good. We would definitely come back!
