Everything was delicious. Came for a quick light bite before my daily run and ran into this spot with its great reviews. Definitely gonna come back with my family. I ordered the cabbage, vegetable soup and baklava for dessert. The cabbage ? Everything was mouthwatering!

Absolutely incredible Ethiopian restaurant! This is our go to in San AntonioEthiopian food is something that everyone should experience. It’s a communal style eating, where you share multiple little plates with the ones you are eating with. The injera bread is what you use to pick up the different dishes. The injera is airy and light, and it tastes really good by itself. You can taste hints of citrus in the bread. The different dishes are served on top of a larger injera that soaks in the juices of the dishes. The dishes themselves are absolutely incredible. There are multiple vegan options, which their menu highlights and separates. We haven’t tried every dish, but everything we tried was amazing! It’s a comfort food that is very healthy. The sambusa appetizers are also to die for. Both vegan and meat options.Overall, an amazing experience all around. It’s a comfort food, served by wonderful people in an amazing shared eating experience. I recommend everyone tries Ethiopian at least once, and this is the place to do it in San Antonio. For more reviews and foodie pics, follow @My_FoodieVerse on instagram

I have seen it before and honestly I didn't think it was still open. But thankfully they are and it was worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the experience. The service was great and there is video instruction on how to properly eat an Ethiopian meal! I tried not to get to many X's. This is fun the food is really flavorful and I will definitely add this to my mix of restaurants to eat at. I encourage you to give it a try this small restaurant with big food flavor!

We had heard so many good things about this place. We went with their suggestion and tried the vegan meal for first timers and it was delicious. Will definitely come back! Thank you so much for the amazing meal!

We got a sampling of both meat and veggies options everything we tasted was amazing and really different from anything else we've had in town. Nice chill environment. Staff seems to really enjoy life & being there. Will definitely be back.

The awaze tibsi (lamb in veggies) and habesha tea were good. There seemed to be some miscommunication issues. They served us the wrong portion size for one dish and waited a long time to tell us they were out of a tea we ordered.

Real deal here, lots of vegan and gluten free options too. Check it out for sure

My husband and I enjoy Ethiopian food and we were thrilled to find this wonderful place. The food was excellent, the service great, it was super clean with an A+ rating from the city. The beef ribs were outstanding and their home made injera bread was amazing. I hope more people in San Antonio explore and enjoy the food of Ethiopia!

Some of the best food I’ve tasted in San Antonio. We had a vegetarian combo and also a meat combo so we could try different foods. So delicious and could feed 3. Must try the cabbage (Alicha Kawlo), alicha chicken, and the chocolate cake ?

I'm a fan of Eritrean/Ethiopian restaurants and this is the best I've ever had! Very kind service and delicious food :)
