I tried to try this place a couple of times, but there was no parking, and no place to park and walk.I ordered a 12" pizza with sausage, onion, & anchovies. They brought one with sausage, onion, and artichokes. They remade it quicker than the 1st time, so that was good.It's a thin crust NY style pizza - very foldable with a crust with a good bite, on par with other local New York pizzerias.The atmosphere was reminiscent of a college pizzeria. But the menu is more sophisticated. I saw a couple of delicious toasted subs, lots of pizzas, and a good stack of pasta dishes to go. The place has been in business forever, but I never stopped by. This may have been be my 1st visit, but it won't be my last, tho I may need to ride a bicycle if I'm going to have space to park.
We went on a Friday evening with family and it was such a good atmosphere to gather friends and family. The inside is very lively. TVs mounted everywhere. Plenty of seating with elbow room. Our group had at least 6 adults and 2 children. The menu looked pretty big considering it was a pizza place. We got a Meat Supreme with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage. It did not disappoint. We got the largest and between myself and another big guy in our group we were able to finish it off. If course there was another pizza and buffalo wings for the rest of our group that they said it was some 1st rate pizza also. It did not lack in toppings or taste. The crust is New York style. And if you care to satisfy your sweet tooth they have gelato that there was a line of some people so it must be good. We will definitely be going back.
The food is pretty good. They got our plates out to us pretty quickly. This my wifeand mine main place to go when we don't feel like hitting more upscale places.
Love the pizza a d wings from here, great lunch special Daily. They also have frozen treats for those with a sweet tooth.

Been coming here for months...today we tried something new by adding an additional topping to our lunch specials. Keep in mind they do ask what toppings you want as if they are making them fresh. Well we have found that is not the case. They added the mushrooms i asked for but did not cook them properly, they were still raw, warm but raw. The Canadian bacon that my husband added was undercooked as well. Totally cooked at a different temperature then the rest of the pizza. This experience has lowered my view of the restaurant and will effect the frequency in which i come. In the future i know not to add to their pizza slices because the slices are premade and you will get undercooked additional toppings if you add to them. Their lamb cheese steak is not appetizing unless you are in the mood for Mediterranean cheese steak...definitely not from philly.
I had the pasta lunch special for $9.95 and it was so worth it even though I didn't know what kind of pasta dish it was. You don't get to pick it yourself but it was good! My kid had the pizza lunch special and the slice was huge and it came with a salad! The pizza was also delicious. Than if course we had to get the gelato soo amazing! The cashier looked kinda over being there but the food experience was great!
We were visiting tye area and wanted to try a local pizza place. We went to Ray's for all the good reviews I read and they didn't disappoint! We had 2 pepperoni slices they are very big, thin crust and a 12" Margherita pizza. The margherita has a slightly thicker crust. Both pizza's were so fresh and good! We also had delicious gelato and key lime pie. I would definitely come again.
I'm giving 4 stars to the food only. The service beyond the food sucked. There this skinny girl loads of makeup she needs to learn customer service you can tell she really hates her job. Never greeted us once no smiles ever and she took her sweet time getting me and my family Gelato, even when her boss told her to serve us. I'll come back for the food and take it home like everyone else was doing. Get better servers with a smile.
I’ve passed by this place so many times and have always wanted to go check it out. If you’re reading this, stop thinking about it and just go. Haven’t had pizza this good since we stayed in New York. There was this little spot in Brooklyn that literally altered my life. The pizza at Ray’s tastes exactly like it. You won’t regret giving this place a try.
