I came here to try the infamous puffy tacos and they did not disappointed. I ordered them to go. The server who took my order was very friendly and helpful in making suggestions. I will definitely return when I am in the San Antonio area again!
1st Time here. We really liked it here, love the music they play, and it's a clean place. Really good tasty food.
Went to rays for lunch, I was expecting to wait to be seated but surprisingly they sat us right away. I order a carne guisada Puffy taco, and a fajita puffy taco. They were both delicious!
We were so excited to try Ray’s for the first time as a family. My daughter decided to try something NEW on their menu “Buffalo chicken strips”. Ray’s please stick to puffy tacos with shredded chicken because all 3 strips were RAW as can be! I couldn’t even look at my plate after seeing what my daughter was served. I asked for the manager they took my daughters plate and mine off ticket. No one from kitchen bothered to apologize! I still paid $49.96 after “deductions”. Now we have to drive home with upset stomachs in hopes my daughter doesn’t severely sick from taking a bite not knowing she was eating RAW CHICKEN! Super disappointed and grossed out we will definitely not be returning!
Not sure how people enjoy this place. The food is BLAND. No seasoning on anything. Unless we went on a bad night I would never go back. And the service was bad.
Really Delicious puffy tacos. This was my second time ordering from here since the pandemic in 2020. The dinning room is now open to the public. On this day I ordered the puffy taco plate. 1 beef fajita puffy taco 1 chicken fajita puffy taco rice and beans. The puffy tacos come with lettuce tomatoes and avocado. If you want cheese and sour cream on ur puffy tacos u must let the waiter know. I ordered 3 drinks on this day and the drinks alone were approximately 11 bucks...total for three separate meals and drinks was 45 dollars. Overall delicious tacos the inside dinning room is cute but old...could probably use a remodel.
After trying puffy tacos at lots of places we can confirm these are the best ? Also loved the chalupa with fresh ingredients. Service was great. The music and ambiance was perfect ??
my nachos were simply amazing and the puffy tacos are to die for .... this place is always packed but the wait is never to long. The only sad part is that it closes at 7pm , but with no one wanting to work I totally understand. GREAT JOB COOKS !
Puffy tacos ? were delicious freshly made. Service was great as well will definitely be coming back.
Nice little place with phenomenal customer service. Our waitress, Brianna was excellent. I got the chicken fajita puffy tacos. The fajita was a little dry and needed more flavor. I will, definitely, be back to try other items on the menu.
