I thought I was reserving for brunch and apparently they don't serve brunch at this time but don't know why they couldn't for Mother's Day. I told my mom and grandma we were having brunch so looked like a bafoon.

The margarita was delicious. The queso was different than you find most places, but good. I had a mixed meat quesadilla that sounded great but was a little bland for what all was inside. My wife had chicken fajitas and the plate was overwhelmingly vegetables and not enough chicken..it had a bit of Chinese food flavoring. The service was fantastic!!

The choices of food on Menu is limited. There are definitely better places for Mexican food in San Antonio Its pool side restaurant and entered through there We went for Valentines Day and it was quite and nice enjoy without any hustle bustle. They have a Strawberry Tequila moktail that was special and good.

Worst Tex-Mex food I've had in a LONG time. Rice was undercooked (or maybe made with parboiled rice? - regardless it was hard), fajitas tasted like the pre-marinated ones in the vacuum-sealed bag you get at the grocery store (and were 75% peppers/onions, 25% beef). My wife ordered enchiladas, and they were strangely thick and doughy, as if they were made with raw masa instead of cooked tortillas. On top of all of that, the prices were $$$$ and we waited at least 10 minutes after being seated before our server greeted us, took drink orders, and brought us chips. Save your money and go to literally any other Tex-Mex restaurant in the San Antonio area for a better meal.

Very disappointed with the food, nothing remarkable - I would have expected more given my other experiences at Signature and Sweet Fire. Margaritas were good, and service was great.

We visit this restaurant every time we stay at La Cantera and the drinks are excellent and inventive and the food is fresh but the thing that really sets this place apart is the fabulous staff. The bartenders are wonderful! They really made our experience special. One thing I would improve if I had any feedback would be to invest the effort in making fresh tortilla chips. Cant run a good Tex mex restaurant with bagged chips :)
