There are two ways a company can deal with inflation. The first is to raise their prices, and the second is to keep the prices the same while giving the customer less. It appears that this company has opted for the second with their new menu. Not only that, but their chicken sandwich has apparently been downgraded to a mere “buffalo chicken” sandwich; just a chicken tender between two slices of bread with buffalo sauce. What’s worse is that the amount of chicken IN that tender has been replaced by the fried batter (as delicious as it is).Also, their serving size of fries is now children’s size. I would gladly pay 25% more for “American” portions than this penny-pinching half-measure. Such a sad day. So long, Popeye’s! It was good while it lasted.
Exceptionally bad. I specifically went to this location because the one by my house is terrible - and this place was worse.After 35 minutes I went inside and found about 7 employees all together perhaps having a meeting. No customers in the store and no one cooking. They had forgotten my order. Another 5 minutes to get it together and as I got into my car I checked and was missing a sandwich. Went back in and was told it wasn't on the order and I wasn't charged. But the receipt showed it was on the order and it was paid for. Another 12 minutes to get that; meanwhile another customer came in as she had been waiting over 30 minutes also. They gave her her money back. No offer of any accommodations for me, not even a bag of fries. A drive through order shouldn't take 45 minutes and two trips inside. Stay away, poorly managed.
Is it me or ALL Popeyes in San Antonio have forgotten what customer service is. I order food sign was flickering informed (guy with glasses curly hair) I wanted a chicken sandwich gives me chicken tenders instead I take inside behind another customer with work order he tells me "you didn't or a chicken sandwich " and walks away and left me standing there all to get my sandwich by another employee 10 min later with cold fries!! 4th one I went too ALL HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ??
Popeyes #7261 at 11:45 the girl at the drive thru window with a nasty attitude after I asked to PAY for a order of fries! Who does that at a business establishment??!! She acted like I asked for something free!!! Her attitude was based cause I asked at the window . Who cares! Your business runs on customer buying more food!!! And food wasn't fresh also.
Worst drive thru service around. They make you wait just to take your order, until the car in front is gone and they never fail to forget something in the order.They don't care about customer service either, not one friendly person there.
Seriously rude staff. The guy at the drive thru was not willing to even answer questions by customers that came in to eat. And the lady at the front was extremely rude to others and out of nowhere asked what i wanted sweetly. It was just creepy. She was obviously taking her time taking orders as well as making them. Check your cameras.They were not that busy and I still waited 50mins total time here. I was asked by a colleague who I owed lunch what he wanted and that's the only reason I stayed. Worst experience at any place.
I give this location a 3 because I waited 15-20mins in the drive through. I did love how they gave me all dark chicken. I've been to locations that only give me white. No one can deny Popeyes chicken is the best. But my rating is location based. They need to improve better on timing and execution on delivery.
Have gone two times this month with equally bad experiences. The first visit i placed the order online through the app. When i arrived to store they were so overwhelmed with customers that they hadn't even taken care of any online orders when the order on the app said it was ready for pick up. I waited an additional 10 mins to be told they ran out of chicken and replaced it for chicken strips because thats all they had left and could not give me a refund because i had placed the order and paid online. The last time i ordered at the drive through , mild chicken that had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. It was as if they had forgotten to put any spices on it all and to top if off the 8 dollar large order of new macaroni w cheese was dry and tasteless as well. Will be the absolute last time visiting this location.
Popeyes chicken in San Antonio has no Cajun Flavor. In fact, it has no flavor. Sorry. I've tried several. They're all the same. We're sticking w Bill Miller Fried Chicken in San Antonio.The neon sign was flashing a special: 10 piece for $12.99 and we couldn't buy it. We were told that sign was not current and that was not available.?
I’ve gone to this location three times in the passed two weeks only to be turned away by limited items or nothing available at all. Before this Popeyes was my favorite location being that it was close and convenient. I have no idea what’s going on now.
