I didn't want to write a review about this but when I called the store to talk to someone, I just heard a quick word and was put on hold. No greeting. No "please can I put you on hold " I waited and no one came back online. So here I am. I always go to Pizza Italia. There's like 5 pizza places in this one area and y'all are by far the best! However, tonight I ordered a pizza and 2 of the slices didn't have ANY cheese let alone any toppings. Disappointing. Please check with the kitchen is all I ask. Thank you.
So I enjoy trying new restaurants out, and sometimes it be an amazing experience and and other times it can be a complete bomb. Unfortunately this restaurant was the lather. A large 3 toppings pizza and a order of 5 wings cost me $30+ which wouldn't have been a problem if the pizza was good. However this pizza was bland and boring. I have had better pizza from Domino's and would have paid considerably less. Personally with pizza in your name the pizza should be te star of the show, however the wings was the star.
...a memory popped-up on my timeline--our last visit here was over seven years ago!! Started craving an Italiano. Man, it's been way too long. Really missed this place... On our return visit tonight, everything was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Still consistently one of the best!! Even after all the time that has passed, still in my top five pizza favorites in San Antonio. Just wish I lived closer. Well worth the drive...
Recently had lunch here with my daughter and granddaughter. We were made to feel welcome and very well catered to. Great specials and delicious freshly made food.Their homemade ranch is the best I've tasted. I highly recommend Pizza Italia whether for date night or family dining.
3/5/22 11:00 amOrdered A Mama Mia pizza, 5 wings and my wife and I each had a beer. The wings came quickly so when the pizza came we were just finishing them up. Perfect timing. The wings were cooked perfectly. The ranch and bleu cheese was awesome. Pizza was absolutely perfectly cooked. Not limp, not burnt and piping hot. They do have a large selection of beer but nothing domestic on tap like Bud or Coors Light.Also the beer was not real cold. I give 5 stars anyway because the food was so good and our waiter "Michael" was awesome. They all rave about Larry but Michael just outdone him lol
We ordered take out and everything was good. I was worried about the pizza size for my family of 3 but it was enough with the cheese bread and mozzarella sticks. The price was also one of my favorite things lol
Okay, this place was awesome. Super laid back atmosphere, but a lot of energy at the same time. Tons of great beers, the pizza was delicious, and the prices were fantastic. It's definitely a good place to go with a group of friends, or just grab a quick bite to get out of the house. Probably one of my favorite places in town, now.
Pizza italia excedded my expectations. All the food came out hot and fresh and very tasty. Next time I go I will go at a different time and not so late so I can get the dish I wanyed but they were out. They have one of the bigest selections of beer I hace ever seem in a restaurant. The customer service was exceptional. Thank you.
Pizza was amazing, ravioli was on point and the overall atmosphere is very nice. They have so many beers to choose from as well
Ordered delivery from Uber eats. Pizza had great flavor, just too burnt! Would give it 4 stars if it weren’t for this. Both slices like this.Wings- GreatPasta- ok, but cold when arrived.
