We had dinner on a Tuesday evening so the restaurant wasn't quite full. We had a great server, Paul. He was very nice and attentative. We had the Rigatoni, Penne and Pork Chop, all equally delicious! Nice atmosphere, great cocktails and great wine selection for any budget. We will be back!

Not the greatest. The food took forever to come out and instead of increasing prices, they had a â3%â surcharge which felt odd and seems like they should have just raised their prices. There are better Italian options in San Antonio.
We got a frosty welcome when we got there, and I felt like we were bothering the greeters and waiters. Weâve enjoyed our meals at the other location in San Antonio, and this was our first time eating at the Eilan location. I had my favorite Piatti salad and all of the lettuce was brown. The food was fine, but it just wasnât great. Overall it was a very average experience and I expected more. I felt like no one wanted to be at work, no smiles, no welcoming attitude. Maybe the employees were just having a rough day!
The food was good but not commensurate to the price. There was too much sauce in all the dishes we ordered. The portion size was fine. The server was helpful and quick. I think there are better Italian restaurants in the neighborhood.
The service was excellent, atmosphere was great. The only complaint I have was that the most expensive plate was the steak, and the dam thing had no flavor. Would it hurt a little to put some sea salt or kosher salt. My wife's chicken was excellent and flavorful. Other than that, the joint was alright.
The pizza is delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the bruschetta. However the dish we all recommend is the spinach and ricotta ravioli in lemon cream sauce; it was out of this world! The staff was also kind enough to get a child size cup of tomato soup with extra cream for my niece with special needs. We will definitely be back the next time we visit San Antonio.
