It was just ok. Seemed like most things needed some salt. They used American cheese in the enchiladas. The tortillas were great though. I did enjoy the beef barbacoa. The tomatoes and veggies in that gave it all the flavor.
Nicole was our waitress. Food was good and service was great. Not crowded at all at 6:00 on a Sunday.
At the beginning of the meal, we asked the waitress (Nicole) the size of burrito in order to accurately order for a teenager because we know the term "burrito" can vary from restaurant to restaurant. Nicole told us they are small. We ordered 3 bean and cheese burritos. Well, first off they came with more than beans and cheese. We didn't complain despite this kid only liking bean and cheese. This teenager only made it through 1 of these very large burritos and a little into the second. We were charged $10.99 a burrito make his order alone $33!!!! The price was not clear, otherwise, we would have never ordered like this. When we questioned it they made it out to be our fault. The waitress took no responsibility and called the manager. The manager (Jose) offered a discount but not to take the extras off. He was rude and condescending the entire time. After a little more back and forth, he said if he took the leftover burritos back than he would take the extra off. Fine. We never wanted that much food to begin with! We had a large group so in general we had to wait a very long time (understandable), barely got refills, had to ask at least 3 times for Ketchup for the kids, and waited 20 minutes for ice water. So all things considered, we were very patient, but this was the straw that broke the camel's back. We were made to feel terrible for even questioning it. It was embarrassing the way they handled the whole situation. Honestly, from the beginning you could tell they didn't want to seat our party. Most likely because they were closing early for the holiday. We got there at 12 and they closed at 3pm. Therefore, if you are looking for a family friendly restaurant, do not go here!!!! You will feel rushed, ignored, and shamed for asking questions.
Excellent service by Isaac today. Quality food too. I recommend Pericos for all occasions. Happy 4th of July. Mark
Came this morning to pericia for breakfast and I couldn’t have asked for a better waiter. Fausto is a great server and very entertaining while doing his job. You can tell he loves what he does and he will make sure you enjoy your meal. Ask for him by name and you won’t regret it.
Came to eat Dinner at Pericos today with my family, great food and service thanks to our server Osiris for making our visit enjoyable. Our food was delicious and our alcoholic drinks were the best! Piña Coladas are made with love ❤️
This place was amazing. So much delicious food on each plate. Beautifully displayed. Staff was there checking to make sure we had everything we wanted. Great place to eat.
Came with family, smelled great walking in. My mom and I ordered the fajitas for 2 and my husband got a grilled chicken breast. They only provided one very small tray of 3 (not tasty) sauces to go with 1 basket of chips for 4 guests, and no salsa at all (one looked like salsa but was a Smokey watery tomato based sauce). The fajitas came with no sour cream or peppers, and when I asked the waiter about why there were no peppers he only said “we don’t do that anymore”. All these small things just came across as cutting corners and majorly took away from what I want when I think Mexican food. My husbands “grilled chicken breast’ also came cut up into small pieces which was weird.
My family and I have been going here for 15+ years. The beans and rice were so so bad tonight. I understand supply issues but it isn’t difficult to season beans. They literally tasted like canned beans from H-E-B. gross. I am giving this one star because the enchiladas tasted decent, even though I ordered extra cheese and it did not come with extra cheese. The bar drinks were terrible/incorrect and The waiter couldn’t care less. Most of our order was incorrect and no apologies. Unfortunately we won’t be going back.
The service was outstanding. Alondra was awesome. I didn't like the salsa verde . The chicken flautas and guacamole were delicious. The beans were good. The rice was luke warm and flavorless. The queso was not good at all. Expensive for quality of food. Just was not impressed.
