Amazing place, service is outstanding and food is great. Very pricey. Outside and inside are decorated very nicely. There is much seating for the bar area as well.

Restaurant was clean and food service was fast. The bar was really slow. We ordered the Coronado and a chicken fajita plate. Food was served very hot. Taste was good. We will return.

Looks like they are back to a full menu which was exciting. My favorite is the Papacitas Grill, I substitute the chicken for beef for a slight charge and never regret it. Restaurant is clean, staff is attentive and food never disappoints.

Absolutely fabulous service! Our server Priscilla was excellent; very kind, friendly, and accommodating! The food was great and was very fresh. The manager Mike was also very accommodating. He came over to ensure that my food would be make without cross contact from gluten. Overall, it was a fabulous experience, it’s too bad they don’t have Pappasito’s in Maryland. Whenever we return to Texas, I’ll be sure to come back again.

I have been a customer for years but no more. Pappasito's at this location is lousy we ended up leaving before they called us to sit down. First you walk in and no one greets you rather they looked at us as a burden here comes one more gringo. Then they had no table available because they didn't have enough stuff?? seriously?? then we looked at their dirty menus and prices and decided it's time we eat elsewhere from now own. That's in a nut shell my experience this week at this SA location shameful.

Everything about this place is top notch. This is the perfect definition of you get what you pay for.The food is excellent. The chips and salsa are some of the best I have tried. The dishes are a little pricey however we shared the beef and chicken fajitas and still had left overs. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help.Great place to dine.Make sure to try the fresh tortillas with butter :)

I used to go to UTSA and drove past this place every day for over 6 years. I had never eaten here until yesterday.I had the mahi tacos and they were really good! The only issue I had was the fish was a bit too big so I had to cut it up inside the tortilla to be able to eat it, and the slaw on the taco made the second taco a little soggy, but that’s okay. The rice was alright. It wasn’t the worst rice or the best rice. It was just alright.I also had the spicy pineapple mule and it was really good.I will have to come back again and try something else.

Another disappointing Mexican / Tex-Mex experience in a city known for the BEST Tex-Mex food in the country. I've actually had better Tex-Mex food in OK, TN and even AL. I grew up in San Antonio, so I am always excited to visit and get some great food, so when I spend the amount of money that we spent, ($55.00 for 2 people), and I don't want to eat all of my food, then it is a very big let-down.

Wait was exceedingly long, but understandable on a Friday night. The food, however, was was too salty and we walked away without really eating much or to-go boxes. When we told the server it was too salty she seemed confused and asked if we wanted a manager. I said, “well, yes, he might want to know.” but then seemed to get lost. We finally flagged her down and asked for our check almost 10 minutes later. The salmon was great, the shrimp was good, but the rice it was on still too salty.Tbh the girl had a whole clueless vibe going about food and drinks that would have been endearing, if it wasn’t her job.Overall, not a good experience.

Fajitas and their soups. I don’t particularly care for their enchiladas but they are adequate
