My chicken fajita taco should not have been served. The cooks should know better than to serve dried chicken. It was completely dry and filled with onion. One small slice of green pepper, thanks, but no thanks.
The donuts are great the Mexican restaurant is not what it used to be they charge extra to toast your taco, and last time I was there it was upsetting to hear the manager tell this women that she was interested i. Her view about God when she told her God bless. I was surprised, because she was just being sweet and nice and they told her they did want hear her speak like that in the taco section of the restaurant. Never heard anything bad at all about the donut shop
I’ve gone early in the morning when they just made the doughnuts and grabbed a dozen to take to work. Yes they make them fresh in house every morning. While you’re there pickup some breakfast tacos, because they are fresh and delicious. I think the wait can be a little long, but it’s worth it. Sometimes I buy a couple tacos and when I eat them I think man I should’ve bought just one more! That’s how you know it’s good food.
Went for breakfast one morning and got a few of their breakfast tacos. They have dozens of options to choose from along with donuts and other delicious looking foods.
Nice and friendly service even when they are slammed. We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast tacos. We checked lots of local guides and reviews while planning stops for our trip. Lots of people recommend this place. Getting the tacos toasted was good. However, we were disappointed by the lack of flavor in the food. My taco had potatoes, and while good, there just was no flavor to them. Really bland. However, we also got some donut holes, and those were really good. I wish we'd gotten donuts instead of the tacos because those tasted great!
Always hits the spot when I eat here. The menudo is always delicious, the barbacoa is really good with avocado and the salsa tops everything off. The potato and egg is perfect. Homemade tortillas made in house fresh . The lady is actually rolling out your tortillas in the back while your ordering. Oh don’t forget your fresh baked dounuts , always a treat !
The absolute best food in all of San Antonio. I drive almost an hour weekly to satisfy my pallet and hunger. Portions are huge! My favorite is the Crispy Chicken Tacos, Picadillo Tacos and you can't go wrong with any of the homemade donuts. This place is a must visit if you are in the San Antonio area! :-)
By far some of the best breakfast tacos that I have had. Weekends are crazy busy here so make sure you get there early so you’re not in line too long. For the price, you definitely can’t beat it and the food is amazing. What’s even better is that you have the option of getting tacos or donuts all within the same shop.
Great food, great service, and friendly staff! The Donuts were amazing best I have found in SA yet!!
Great food! Real homemade tortillas made right in front of you. It got pretty packed with customers, but I guess that's a good thing. Afterwards, it was nice to get some freshly made donuts. For sure we'll be back.
