Great service, food was ok, meatloaf was dry fried pickles and collard greens delicious. My favorite part was the drinks I love the little ice and mason cups.
I would give this place 0 stars. The yams were disgusting. They aren’t candied yams, they weren’t sweet at all. Super dry. The macaroni was not good either. the fried chicken was the worst fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life. No seasoning whatsoever and the breading had a weird taste. I will never go back
The fried catfish is excellent from texture to seasoning waffle fries as well. We tried the raspberry pork chops which surprisingly work well together. The candied yams wasn't quite right though like they boiled them then tried to sear them quickly but forgot the sugar or something, the sweet corn tasted sweeter. The macaroni was okay it tasted like they used sharp cheddar and was a little dry (if possible try to eat it with bacon), the cabbage with bacon was done right though. The waffles weren't great though it's big and smells sweet but it's just a pancake shaped like a soft waffle. Cornbread was delicious though and I liked that they served the drinks in a Mason jar. It was hella cold in the restaurant though it made the food get cold quickly and my mom had to even wear a blanket just to stay eating here LOL.
I went today.....So lets see, the restaurant was not that packed. Me and my party were seated and we imidieatly ordered once a waiter came to take our drinks. 20 min went by......then another 20 so about 40 min or so went by to bring out 3 orders of chicken and waffles.Now normally I would not been TOO bothered by the wait for food as this place has a reputation for taking long. It was the fact that 4 other parties that cam and were seated AFTER we were all got their food well before we did within that 40 min delay, and them when we did get our food it was not even hot.Worst brunch, food, experience in a while. This place sucks flat out.
I paid $12 for chicken strips that look like little shrimps. The waffles you eat at a free hotel breakfast are better than these honestly. I waited like 20 minutes for my meal and was so disappointed! To call themselves "fried chicken & waffles" and not even be skilled at the craft is surprising. I'm shocked at the good reviews of this place.
Ate here for the first time today around noon. Staff was friendly, the atmosphere was chickeny, and the number 5 (dark meat chicken and a waffle) was BUSSIN. Definitely recommend to eat here.

I'm reading all these great reviews and wondering if I ate at the same place. Sorry but the food was very bland. My son ordered the chicken smothered in gravy ?. It had no seasoning at all. Actually none of the food has seasoning. Only reason I went was because of the reviews. I totally regret it.
Went there for the first time today. The food is amazing. The employees are top shelf and super friendly. My family's new favorite place. 100% recommend.
Fried chicken and Mac N cheese, with big’ ol glass of Koolaid. Pretty good.. pretty, pretty, pretty good. I’ll try some of those waffles next time.
