You want great eats with all the flavor and none of the animal?! Come and eat here! Everything from the sweets to the savory will make you wanna stay vegan or change to vegan. Love this place. Keep it up Miss Chickpea!
Went around 4pm and waited about 30 minutes for take out. Busy but good. They were out of the soup but the soup they suggested instead was even better. Day old soup for the save! The avocado sandwich I had was pretty great too. There weren’t many banana chips on the side but they fill you up fast so don’t worry about that. The dip is a teeny bit spicy but the chips are good on their own if you can’t handle spicy. I wish the music was louder so I could enjoy it more.
I got the gf oatmeal cream pie, gf oreo cream pie, and gf chocolate chip cookie. First, they tasted amazing ?. Second, they're probably not meant for people with celiac disease. I had one after dinner and then despite feeling nauseous the next morning, I had another one on an empty stomach and threw up shortly after. I was sad I couldn't keep it down cause they really did taste good but, it's not for me. They're probably safer with those who just have gluten sensitivities. Also, the staff there was very nice ?
Great food, highly recommend!! The donuts were really good!! Most vegan donuts are really dense, but these were surprisingly light and airy! The papusas, quesadillas, and lattes were all delicious! If you’re in a rush do the grab and go or order ahead! Also solid choice for anyone traveling through the city like us, right off the highway!
Great vegan cafe, with some of the best baked goods. The quality of food is 5 stars. However, their unisex restroom, is pretty dirty. The rest of the cafe seems to be very clean, but the restroom seems to not get the same attention. Considering it’s unisex I think is should be maintained with a bit more attention. Other than that, still a great cafe.
I ordered pies from here that were supposed to be 6 inches, but as someone who bakes, the size didn’t look right so I went home to measure. The pan code is DPI 2400. A quick search on Amazon shows this pie pan is 5 3/4. And quick measurement of the pan shows the company measures with the rim included. So it’s actually a 5 inch pan. I am baking other pies and have a pan which is actually 9 inches end of rim to end of rim, but is labeled and advertised as 8 1/2 inches, which is accurate when the rim is not included. I am not sure if this bakery purposely did this but I would think a bakery could eye ball it to know it seemed off….definitely not worth the e $ when the pie pan itself is not sold as 6 inches and clearly incorrectly counts a rim.

The service was just as great as food! The croissants were sooo light and flaky and pastries were absolutely delicious ?
So glad they moved the bakeshop into a bigger space and added more items to the menu. The "poptarts" and chocolate croissants are my favorite. They have a great menu of salads, sandwiches and pupusas as well as kolaches. I look forward to enjoying more of the plates soon. The horchata was also delicious. There are tables to eat outside and plenty of parking. The place has a friendly and bright atmosphere.
No doubt, the food is great. The service is chaotic, slow, and totally random. Be prepared to wait in line for a long time, and then it take just as long to get your order afterwards for already baked goods.Could really use some better process. Ordering online ahead of time serces no benefit except you down have to touch the screen, otherwise same crazy long wait.Love the business, but it shouldn't take 15 minutes to get a muffin.
