We were encouraged by the AAPI Heritage Month passport to check out participating restaurants. My husband and I have been to @mingsthing a couple of times before and thought to bring Dad to experience it.Happy hour is from 4pm to 7pm and drinks were 20% off then add the AAPI discount of 10%! I had My Bloody Valentine and my husband had the Sake Mule and Neon City Hong Kong Pale Ale.Just the buns alone were filling. Dad had the Summer Noodle Bun which had a spicy kick and a piece of the pork belly. I ate the other half of Smoked Pork Belly Bun and the Bulgogi Bun with less heat. My husband had the Hot Chicken Bun and each order came with 2 buns. I had a bite of his and it had a great crunch. Dad and I then shared the Cilantro Lime Soy Noodle. My husband had the Ma-La Sweet Potato Noodle with grilled shrimp. We finished the meal by sharing the Taro Coconut Frozen Souffle dessert. From start to finish, everything was deliciously perfect. The only thing we had missing was our propeller fan with us to swat off the multitude of flies outside. It was great to see many other people eating there today. Definitely worth checking out and getting your passport stamped!

Our organization ordered catering from Ming's for an event we were having at Artpace and it was a wonderful experience. Emma and Ming were very helpful helping us to narrow down selections for our event and delivered all the food warm and fresh. They even used a food warmer for the hot items. We recommend a mix of the chilled noodle bowls and the rice bowls. They had a vegan and gluten free option as well. Absolutely do not forget to add Chili Oil. It is worth the extra cost and so delicious.

great ambience while eating, and love the location.

Simply delicious!? I had the Smoked Pork Belly and Bulgogi Bun and they were amazing! To top it off, I ordered the Ma La Sweet Potato bowl with pulled pork. You won't be disappointed!!

I had the barbecue pulled pork. OMG, just the proper balance of Curry and Ginger. totally amazing. the best I've ever had. my first time going but won't be the last.

My wife had a craving for Ming’s just the other day and she was like, “I just have to have Ming’s!” I said, “honey, that is all the way downtown…like 40 minutes away.” She said, “You don’t understand the sweet potato noodle bowls are killer!”. Needless to say, we may the trip. I do love their noodle bowls and Ming’s is soooooooooo freaking good! The Cilantro bowl is my favorite and the appetizers are amazing! The parking in front of the restaurant is difficult but you will most likely park under the highway, there are some really cool murals under there too. I say, if it’s a nice day out then sit outside and enjoy the cross breezes. Ming’s is an interesting fusion of Asian cuisine and it’s hip and fun. You will not be disappointed.

Place was clean, staff was friendly and food was good. Hands down some of the best steam Bao buns in town.

Ming's hit the spot! We tried their bao and my partner got the beef and broccoli bowl and it was all really good! The bao are filling and the bowl was fresh and well made. Their chilli oil was also pretty good. Other people around us ordered noodles and it looked good, so we'll have to order it next time. They have indoor and outdoor seating so it's covid friendly! There is parking on the side, but you can take a little path where there's a parking lot area with plenty of spots. The only thing I wish they had was more bao options, but either than that, everything was great!

Ming’s is a dream! The food is absolutely fantastic, the drinks are great, the vibe is chill, and it has quickly become my favorite restaurant in San Antonio! Do yourself a favorite and check it out TODAY!

Read their reviews on multiple plaforms and decided to go to try their famous bao buns. They have multiple options available and it can get a bit tricky when it comes to ordering! I like their chicken, tofu, Thai shrimp buns. The baos are super soft and fun to eat! We tried their Sake and it was good. It's a pretty new place and so everything is neat and clean. The service is good and fast. They have ample seating arrangements and parking is not an issue.
