I was so disappointed at my Sunday brunch. I am attaching photos of the lamb chops that my husband has prepared for us to eat tonight. The ones that I received on Sunday were mostly gristle. I will have to say this is the worst meal that I have ever had at Milanos and I have been eating here for probably 20+ years and I have always loved this restaurant. I hope this is not a representation of what has happened to one of my favorite restaurants as I plan to come back in the future and give them another try!

I love it Great atmosphere, lovely crew, the food is amazing and fairly priced.

I went to this restaurant with my aunt and dad and it was horrible!, the lack of personality was terrible, the chicken parmigiana tasted like it was old and not to mention it was cold too, the salmon was the only good thing out of my meal, the angel hair pasta was nasty too greasy and buttery the soda my dad got was flat not to mention the “sweet” tea wasn’t sweet and the lack of atmosphere was horrible as well, not to mention overpriced! truly only one star.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant multiple times, each occasion the service was amazing and the food was delicious and consistent! They include both a salad and Veg with your meal as well as fresh warm bread ! Def underated a must try…. mouth watering thinking about their chicken Parmesan ?

We waited 30 minutes with our kids for a table (no reservations), after the manager said one would be ready in 10. Several times Milano told us “your table is being set up,” but the available tables either went to later groups (also without reservations) or ones already there. We finally left disappointed. I understand restaurants sometimes fill up and parties without reservations cannot be seated. If that is the case, Milano should just say so. Lying and pretending a table is being made ready is a terrible practice.

Food was delicious! Had the chicken piccata and husband had the chicken parm and both were really great! Only thing was the slow service (I think they were short staffed) but our waitress was doing the best she could and was very nice!

I went during brunch with a friend of mine, Sunday. The food was absolutely delicious! My only really minor complaint was the wait time and a bit of confusion over who was the waiter for my friend and I. But the wait time was to be expected on a Sunday after church. I had the lamb chop and eggs for brunch, and those were simply amazing. I would certainly recommend going.

Armando is the server you want. Great dude. Food is delicious and well priced. Good spot for lunch events. Armando knows how to take care of a crowd.

Excellent food! I had lasagna and was perfect. Also the cheesecake was delicious.Suggestion for the owner. The environment it's nice and upscale, but the music was County style, which makes me confused. This is the second time I heard the same kind of music. Some Jazz or soft sounds will be nicer. Just a thought.

We took another couple to Milano's for an evening meal on a Monday night when most restaurants in San Antonio are not very busy. After being seated we waited 45 minutes for our food.... the wait person never once came by the table to make any comment about the undue delay. When the food was finally delivered, (meat dish was tasty) the vegetable medley of broccoli and carrots was sadly undercooked. The broccoli was almost raw, and we desperately needed a knife to "saw" it into edible pieces. On one plate was a huge stalk from the broccoli... totally inedible. We had not made an issue about the lengthy delay but the inedible broccoli was pointed out to the server when he eventually showed up for the 1st time after the correct entrees were delivered. He had already delivered the corrected dish to the table (salmon instead of shrimp) The manager came over to apologize for the delay but said nothing about the broccoli which was then pointed out again by one of the guests at the table. The manager then said that she obviously needed to go into the kitchen to see what was going on. Our check arrived and we were then a little surprised that no discount had been given on our $100+ check. Some restaurants will at times offer a small dessert but nothing like this occurred. This vegetable medley is a standard offering with the entrees... Obviously the cook(s) need to learn how to prepare it in an edible fashion. It's questionable if we will return as there are quite a few other Italian restaurant options in San Antonio with whom there have never been issues. This restaurant is supposedly "fine dining" but apparently the "fine" descriptor was not present this evening.
