The Menger Hotel is conveniently located and in walking distance to many local sites and the river walk. The Hotel had lots of history. It's old but very clean and the staff were outstanding. Every encounter was more than ordinary. We were there for a Generall Assembly and they were always there to assist with our needs. My only concern was the age of the building it had a musty smell that affected my allergies. If they can fix that the Hotel would be perfect. Nevertheless, I would stay there again.
Very nice Taylor helped us out with our luggage we stayed for a couple of days and was very enjoyable. They however didn’t clean the room we were in so that was a minus, everything else was great. They were very courteous
We really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a nice view and a truly historic feel to it which we appreciated. All the staff were extremely helpful and attentive including the staff at the Colonial and the valet services. We never waited longer than 5 minutes for our car. April P. was especially helpful when checking out. Overall an amazing stay! We will be back!
Alex in valet was awesome. Excellent service and very professional. Housekeeping staff was great and courteous. Front desk staff was helpful and breakfast Buffett is top notch. This place is a must stay every time we visit San Antonio Texas.
Alex was excellent and Anna provide exceptional service and are a credit to the Menger Hotel. They were very curtious and respectful. They were familiar with the area and very helpful quick to assist.
Great historical hotel! The Menger Bar is a must! It’s like stepping back in time. The rooms were clean, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. Our family had a great time and really enjoyed the pool area. Highly recommended! Ana was our valet. She was friendly and helpful.
From the second we first pulled into the valet both Tay and Alex were so friendly and happy to help! All the staff was happy to see us and the cleanliness of the entire hotel is so relaxing. We enjoyed every second of our stay and can’t wait to come back.
Alex with valet was amazing. Very helpful with directions. Hotel is also very nice and I love the history of it. Everything is clean and smells nice the rooms are spacious and we love our balcony view.
Ana was our valet. She was way beyond helpful. Over the top - the best! Busy is an understatement on the day we arrived. Ana made us feel significant. She paid attention to every need we had - from unloading luggage to parking the vehicle. To top it off she even delivered our luggage to our room.
