I'm a ❤️loyal customer you definitely won me over with the HOLY SHIITAKE pizza ?? every bite I take is mouthwatering and you can taste every unique ingredient in every bite especially that sauce on top. I love pizza and you guys offer a variety of unique flavors and your pizza and ingredients are top quality and I appreciate all the hard work you guys do here! I was recommended to try the spinach artichoke dip and it was so amazing I wanted more!! Your staff is friendly and gives great over the top customer service, our drinks were always filled and was always updated on the waiting time of our pizza. the restaurant has a great atmosphere and I love the artistic artwork inside. Love Mellow Mushroom! Their pizza dough has just the right “chew” to it for me. Slightly doughy, yet crisp too. Today our server was Drew, he is a great asset to Mellow Mushroom! He took our order and kept us informed about how long until we received our pizza. He kept our drink glasses full and even brought a bowl of water for Spike.Our pizza was great, it looked so good we all grabbed a slice before I could get a photo. So I have a photo of just half of it.Glad we stopped in for lunch!
I had a great Wild in Havana pizza here. As a lover of Cuban sandwiches, I had to give this one a try. The mix of spicy pork, crispy ham, diced pickles and mustard struck all of the right notes. I would rate it in the top 10 pizzas I've had in San Antonio. My wife, however, was disappointed in the gluten free pizza. Many other pizza joints in SA offer better gluten free crust.
The place is very nice. Very clean. I had mushroom soup, at first taste it was promising. The after taste it just dropped like it was bland. The presentation on my veggie pizza was fabulous. The toppings were tasty. But the pizza dough was just ordinary, nothing special about it. Elise our server was very nice and prompt.
I had low expectations, because I've had a long love affair with pizza... But this place came recommended, so we tried it.The menu was whimsical, with interesting twists on the standard pie. Sure, you can get just a pepperoni pizza, but why not try a Pacific rim or some other specialty?Get the pretzel bites to start... You won't regret it.Most pizza joints fall short on the crust. This crust was properly and evenly stretched, cooked thoroughly, and still fluffy. In other words, it was perfect.The sauce was sweeter, with a texture that screamed slow cooked with love. I could make a meal of just that marinara.The toppings were a bit sparse, but enough to get the full experience of flavors the chef concocted. And, who uses a strip of bacon, instead of bacon bits? These guys, that's who.Our server, Alicia, was great. The whole crew was fun, but she was hilarious, fun, efficient, and fun.

Friendly staff! We didn't realize we had shown up an hour before closing or that they had closed after we ate. Typically, I would never show up somewhere before closing, but I wasn't the one who picked this place or aware of their hours on Sunday. So kudos to the staff for remaining profession and didn't rush us out even after we finished eating.

This was my first time visiting this pizza place. It has really chill vibes. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, so that was cool. We actually sat outside which is a plus since I try hard not to eat indoors during this ongoing pandemic. The server was really helpful. Since it was my first time she was patient and told me about all the pizza and answered all my questions. I ordered their Buffalo Chicken pizza. It was very good and I ended eating more than I should (how's that diet going?) Overall a great experience and I would definitely go back and try their other pizzas. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because when I ordered one of their many tantalizing mixed drinks, I watched in horror as the bartender made my drink and grabbed the lemon and lime with her hands and proceeded to put them in my glass. ? Did I mention we are in the midst of a pandemic? No thank you! Then she kind of had an attitude when I asked if she could make another one. I have nothing but respect for people in the food industry and I know they are stretched thin during these times but come, it is basic sanitation.
I just want to say this place is awesome!! I've always wanted to try and today I did. I had the spinach artichoke #fantastic! I also got the all veggie pizza and I'm in love ? I'll definitely will be back.
