Perfect Easter brunch. The inside is immaculate. I really appreciate them accommodating my request with short notice. Ed was a wonderful server, and talked about his love for San Antonio. The food was delicious and we were shocked at how affordable the food was. We left with very full stomachs and takeout. Thank you so much.
This place is amazeballs! Celebrated my birthday here and so worth it. The desserts were fabulous, dishes were so tasty, and the service equally great.
Best food suggestions are shared via word of mouth. We were told of this place when we were staying at the Wyndham near the river walk ... if the options are there... 1. GET THE DOUGHNUT!! 2. The Eggs Benny is also to die for.. the way they cook the potatoes is amazing...you're welcome in advance.
This restaurant caters to the blue haired country club crowd. The hostess and manager that greet you at the front of the house favor a certain type of customer who they call their "regulars." Everyone who doesn't fit the Alamo Heights look gets seated in the back of the restaurant. Food is good and serving staff friendly but the front of the house's attempt at being snobs is distasteful. Parking is also difficult with construction right next door and a very slow valet. If you want to eat in Southtown there are many better alternatives. Try Battalion it is right around the corner and has great food, easy parking, and a far more welcoming staff to greet you.
Fancy little restaraunt that had really good, tasty eats and a lovely date night feel. The restaraunt isn't too loud and the staff are attentive and kind. The menu is well thought out and everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their food! The cocktail drinks are perfectly balanced and there is a vast wine selection. The waitress offered to let us test wines before we committed! Would love to go back.
Don’t bother. Worst cup of weak coffee in Tx. Confused service. Our party of 4 received our food in relays. No one ate together.
This was our first visit and the food was absolutely delectable! The Onglet was cooked to perfection! The butternut squash bisque was a perfect appetizer along with the gnocci. Every morsel appealed to our palates superbly.Our server, Kerri H was absolutely delightful in assisting my eighty-year-old mother find the perfect wine glass to pair with her meal.I will most definitely be visiting again.
Every time we have gone there the service has been amazing, not to mention the wonderful staff! They have valet if you need, that is reasonably priced and they are fantastic as well. The cocktails are amazing and the food… omg the food… i love it!
We are visiting San Antonio and this was our best dinner Experience. The food, drinks and most of all experience were amazing. I enjoyed the special Coq au Vin and my husband the Red Snapper. Both were totally amazing. James the manager and Victoria our server went above and beyond to make our night extraordinary! Great job, Maverick Texas Brassiere!
What an amazing place! We ordered the duck confit and it was literally fall-off-the-bone good! Pork schnitzel was good, but the duck was our favorite..SO much flavor!! The maverick cocktail was delish! Cozy and stylish ambience; I didn’t want to leave! Absolutely loved it!
