This place is really far from where I live, and I went at 10PM on Saturday evening. The staff are super awesome, and I would come back again just based on how friendly and helpful they were! They were super patient with first time patrons as well.I dig the food truck vibe they have, and they were blasting some nice 90’s R&B. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating. It was surprisingly pleasant outside so that’s where we sat. I ordered the Original Philly, no green peppers add lettuce, tomato, Mayo. They have zero issue accommodating customizations. My gf ordered the Cheesesteak salad and we shared a large order of Parm and Herb Fries. She also got a Mango Philly Water Ice with Chamoy. The service was very fast, and the food was piping hot. My sandwich was spot on and took me back to my visits to Philly, eating Pats and Gino’s, and Tony Luke’s. The salad was good and the fries were legit. They provided dipping sauces for the fires as well. My gf love me the Mango Philly Water Ice. All in all it was a good experience and I may end up trying the one closer to the house. Good food and good vibes, and a great place for late night and after party munchies.
Best Philly cheesesteaks in San Antonio! Whenever I'm craving a good Philly, I come down here. The water ice and their fries are amazing as well. Perfect location, never too busy. Never too loud either.
Malik's is great. The steak meat perfect and the whiz is used in the proper abundance. The food truck park (Rose Bush?) could be better. Blown speakers on the patio and overly loud in building kind of ruined the vibe.
Pretty good cheesesteak. Good thing I ordered the regular and not the large. Very filling. The parmesan and herb fries were killer. I probably shouldn't have finished them all myself, but they were so tasty. Looking forward to trying more sandwiches and the different types of fries.
So good here! I loved it. There is plenty of outdoor seating but I only placed an order for pick up. Big sandwiches and prices are reasonable. The fries are a must try.
Found hair in our Philly an also our loaded fries talked to the so called manager Robert at he San Pedro location to refund our order he agreed to give us 10.00 off our next order ,very poor management not one employee had gloves our hair nets upon picking up my food ! Pathetic service poor management also from the looks inside an out seems very unsanitary I would not recommend this food truck staff seems more into trying to party outside rather then customer service!
Great food, very hospitable & excellent customer service. Will stop back on my next trip from Laredo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have passed this place a few times since I started working on this side of town. Today was the day I stop pass this great place up. The Malik was my first sandwhich of many that I will try. Very friend and warm people. Stop by and they have a place to eat inside.
Definitely not for the faint at heart. These are huge cheesesteaks and orders of fries. You need to share. Everything was tasty and seasoned well. Enjoyed my bacon ranch cheese fries and cheesesteak.
Not too bad. Decided to grab a meL with my co-workers and they suggested this spot. Food was ok for the area and filling, but could have used a bit more seasoning
