Such a delicious place to visit for any occasion. The ambiance is very Italian and when you enter your transported to Italy but in Texas. Great music is playing, the aroma of delicious pasta and sauces can be smelled throughout the restaurant. A definite place to visit for a special gathering or a family event. Our server Shannon was exceptional! Very friendly, attentive and fast! The food is phenomenal and the service was outstanding. We were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. The server was very attentive and had fresh bread on the table shortly after we were seated. The food arrived and was perfect, fresh, and hot. We enjoyed every moment of our time here. I highly recommend it to you, and hope your experience is as good as ours was.
Very great service. Booked a reservation with open table for dinner and were seated immediately. Our servicer was quick at getting our drinks. Appetizers came out quickly, we had the calamari and it was very good. We order the lasagna, and chicken parm. The food was tasty. Ordered a old fashioned and while the serving seemed small it was a good drink.
We really wanted to like this place, it had good reviews and looked very pretty but it was disappointing.The waitress was nice and personable, but she would come ask if we needed anything and then never return with the things we asked for.Our calamari came out and it was cold. It had probably been sitting for awhile to be delivered. We sent it back to ask for warm calamari.Less than five minutes after we sent the calamari away the entrées came out, which was poor timing because if you order an appetizer you should be given some time to enjoy it before the entrées come out. We didn't even have time to barely taste and return it before the food was there.When the entrées came out they were warm, but the sausage in the baked ziti was burnt around the edges. We did not send it back because we were kind of over it all by then.Then the calamari came out as we were beginning our entrées so they wouldn't get cold. The calamari was now warm and it was okay although it could've really used some seasoning. We added lemon, salt and parmesan and it was better.The lasagna was okay, nothing great but not bad.The bread was good, but the oil and seasoning needs salt and if you add some of the parmesan on the table it's even better.The apple dessert was okay, the pastry was doughy and underdone in the center and they covered it with ice cream to mask it, but it was okay. I haven't had sugar in a month so I ate it all.Overall disappointed, but glad we just popped in and didn't come for a special event.
Food was good, but the creme bruleé had so much of the alcohol that they use to set it on fire, that it tasted like lighter fluid. Looked great, but tasted terrible. That was my sister's first attempt at it and it ruined it for her. She won't try it again. Don't lift the table covers unless you want to see tables look like crumbling, card tables. I was expecting something much better to be honest. Was pretty disappointed in that aspect
My husband and I were in town for the week and needed a change from the excellent Mexican food around. This was PERFECT! All the dishes we ordered were fantastic! I would strongly recommend this restaurant. The service Shannon offered was also top shelf!
We had a wonderful time there! Good food and great service! Went for my husband birthday. Server realized it was his birthday and gave him complimentary lemon cookies? Chocolate cake was delicious?
My first time visiting Maggiano's in the San Antonio La Cantera. The ambiance was very nice and the level of service was great. The food was amazingly delicious and I look forward to my next visit when in town.
This place is fantastic. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and wonderful staff. I just can't say enough.
There was a little glitch with calling us to our table but once we were seated everything was fantastic. We will visit again.
