I keep trying to like this place because the first time I came I had such a lovely impression! Drinks weren’t too sweet & I had enough ice to keep my drink cold, boba was good. However, they don’t make the drinks consistent enough & I feel like it’s always different even though I get the same thing. Too sweet for me overall & last time my drink had a caramel syrup which was not in it initially, so even though I lowered the sweetness it was still too much. Sometimes they forget toppings which is unfortunate since they charge you extra for that & this was after we tipped very well..
This “boba shop” doesn’t even allow you to customize the sugar levels of the most basic milk tea. None of the milk tea drinks allow any customization and as expected, the drinks are egregiously sweet. After getting our drinks, we realized the employee made us the wrong drink. We kindly asked to be refunded since we didn’t want to waste another drink. The employee was nice when we ordered, but suddenly began arguing with us. He refused to refund us and insisted on making a new drink. Not only were the drinks disgusting, we had to pay for the employee’s mistake. Aside from this unlucky experience, the sugar loaded drinks alone are enough reason to never come back for the sake of my health.
We have visited this location several times. The Thai tea is usually a safe option that is very nice and creamy. The cake beverages weren’t my favorite. Some of the drinks (all of the milk teas from what we were told) the sweetness cannot be altered, so some drinks are on the sweet side. I think this is a very good dessert boba shop for those with a sweet tooth.
Super clean and sleek place! Drinks are so tasty and are a great treat after shopping. The employees are always so nice and today the girl who served us matched our straws to our sweaters! So thoughtful and nice! :D

The place is clean and the employees were nice.We stopped previously for a to-go order, but dined in for a few appetizers this time.We had the: Fried Pot Stick and their Fried Mozzarella Sticks. Both were made fresh, coming in a cute to-go box reminiscent of Churroholic's.The boba tea was also made fresh with great flavor... not too sweet either.Seating is spaced nicely throughout for about 20-30 people to sit comfortably. With the deco having a modern appeal with Asian influences.The restroom is unisex, large and very clean.We'll be back to try more of the menu!
This place was pretty good. I would definitely be back to give it another try. Gave it 4 stars because they don't offer blended Thai tea ? but other than that it was good! Customer service is A1. And I love the array of old phones on display ?
Was my first visit to Lustea. Decided to give itba try since I had never had cheese tea before. A friend of mine told me about it, and theres not too many places to get it.I tried the Matcha cheese tea. It was OK, not what I was expecting, a little saltier than I prefer when I got to the bottom. Some of the other drinks looked pretty good, might go back to try some other items.Prices were fair, portions were decent size.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!In my opinion, at the moment it has the best boba in San Antonio, and I've had boba from almost all of the boba shops here.Snacks are good but depressed they got rid or the pandan waffle and my only complaint is the fact that the lids for the smaller cups are probably the WORSE lids I've had to experience by far.Everything else is good though, staff is always nice, and the environment feels so chill.
