Good atmosphere. The waitress very nice and helpful. Food is fair every thing is the same flavor not even simple salt and peper. Sweet ice tea is only water and sugar the worst. Presentation is excellent. I will try once again . Good luck.
The Puerto Rican experience was good. I had the mofongo with las fritas, the pork was good, but I would prefer a little spice in my mofongo, but it was good. Appetizer was tostones, double fried plantains, & they were very good. My wife had the La Chuleta, & her pork chops were good. The sweet plantains were excellent, her arroz con gandules was a very tasty rice dish. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try Puerto Rican food.
Great food - the sorullitos were crispy and soft in the middle, mahi-mahi was excellent, and la chuleta (fried pork chops) were all tasty. The dessert - flancocho - was a standout: chocolate cake layered with flan. Such friendly, warm service at a time when restaurants are struggling to have enough staff. You can tell they really care about what they’re serving. Will definitely return.
Luna Rosa is so darn good! We have been here plenty of times and always have a great experience. First time I ordered mofongo it was too dry and had a strong garlic flavor. This time I ordered 3-mofongo with ropa vieja and it was DELICIOUS! The mofongo was more moist because it had the green and sweet plantains with Yuca. And the juices of the ropa vieja. I recommend you order it that way. Great drinks, great atmosphere, friendly staff.
There was 10 min wait due to us having an 8 person party. The restaurant was full when we arrived. There was a long wait for the food. A little pricy but delicious. One plate can feed 2. We had shrimp and seafood mofongo. Table service was good.
We were visiting San Antonio and during our trip we tried different restaurants like Luna Rosa Puerto Rican Grill y Tapas and the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great with Hispanic music. We totally recommend this restaurant and everyone was very friendly.
Delicious food and drinks! Go durring happy hour! The coconut shrimp tacos were amazing! Service and prices were great! Alos a Tripple D stop if your a dinners ..drive in and dives fan!!
Man this place was amazing!! The Tripleta is MASSIVE I’m a big guy and I only ate 1/2 or mine and took the rest home. The meat was tender, juicy, and so delicious, great seasoning. The cubanito is fire, with tostones and a side of queso frito. I’ve lived in the area for a while and never tried this place until now and I Regret that!I’ll definitely be returning. Interior is nice, nice bar, and good music!
Great and never disappoints!
I got the pork and my mom got the ropa vieja with plantains (sooo good and sweet) and arroz con gandules. It was definitely worth the wait and my family's first time eating Puerto Rican. A little salt was needed for my pork. They also offer different flavors of Puerto Rican soda! Will be coming back to try some more.
