This place is over priced and HORRIBLE!! Absolutely DO NOT eat here. Went with some friends here, it started off with the waiter getting our drink orders all wrong. I ordered a steak rare and it came out to be medium then when I got a new steak it was not even seared and had absolutely no flavor. He also brought the wrong steak to my friend and then told her very rudely. “Well that’s what you told me you wanted” to top that off the steaks were very cheap cuts of meat I have had a better steak at a cheap buffet. We also had to wait forever to get our drinks refilled or brought to us. Call me what you want but we did not tip the waiter at all due to his lack of service. The manager then chased us down and started screaming at us for not tipping. As we walked down the stairs and onto the river walk she continued to follow us down the balcony still screaming at us. This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever ate at. If I could give zero stars I would.
Unfortunately, the worst steak in San Antonio Riverwalk area, at 1 $32 price tag, you are better going to Sonic for fries sitting in the bin for an hour and a burger and shake. Will not be back, was hoping for a better experience. The steak on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a negative 10. Hope they take a look at their current level of operations and reconsider making a change.
The food was horrible - we had queso dip - it was thick cold and nasty - we ordered fried shrimp dinner - wasnt terrible but tasted like it was fresh out of the BOX- then my daughter had baby back ribs- OMG inedible - they were hard as rocks and had a funny taste - we sent the ribs back and the waitress came back and said the manager would give us 1/2 off !!!!! WT Actual F—-soo not only does the food suck so does the customer service ….i should have read reviews before i went….dont even bother climbing the stairs….yuckkkkkkkk
Kept asking to take pictures of us and gave us free food. Really weird establishment felt uncomfortable the whole time. Got free food out of it I guess. Wouldn’t come here again by myself as a girl.
Service and atmosphere was great. Food was not good. I ordered the brisket sandwich and It had three small slices of brisket. My daughter ordered the pork sandwich and it was also small on meat. Fries were cold with both sandwiches. My son ordered the $30T-bone and it wasn’t good. Over priced food and very small portions.
Overall it was great and worth a few minutes wait. The menu has an abundance of choices at reasonable prices. Our waiter was excellent in every way. Our food was delicious and was delivered quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We stopped for a Bailey’s and coffee while watching the scene on the Riverwalk. Hector our server was great but when he served our second shot of Bailey’s with our coffee refill, I asked what was up?! The shot glass was less than half full. He explained that the manager, Pam, had poured the second shot and she refused to make it right. If that wasn’t bad enough, she also refused to come out and explain to us. Poor Hector was put in such an awkward position. I’m guessing the staff doesn’t appreciate that any more that we did! Shame on her!
I'd like to recognize Vanessa, our server that went above and beyond to accommodate and make our experience memorable. The food was excellent and served in a timely manner. After we left, we realized that one of us had forgot their phone on the table. I called it and Vanessa answered it and being from Maine, she was able to direct us back and met us outside to return the phone. She was very kind and I would recommend going there and hope that ur server was as great as ours.
The food was delicious! I got the ribeye, husband got the T-bone, friends got the BBQ combo and pulled pork sandwich. The BBQ sauce was amazing! Nice and sweet. Great service. The server was polite. There was about a 5 minute wait on a Saturday night around 8pm which was wonderful compared to Salt Grass which was a 2 hr wait. Glad we ate here! It’s right on the riverwalk.
Potential to be great and nice, is a pricey steak restaurant but with cheap horrible cuts, I feel I was scam with my steak. My steak was very small and all those cuts that you see there are Fat. The cut is very thin. Go at your own risk.
