Family friendly and supreme customer service! We are coming from out of town and from the minute we entered we were greeted, seated, and served with delightful service! The food was fresh and delish we ordered the four season pizza, two orders of lasagna, shrimp linguine and wine. If there was anything to improve upon I would say just a couple more min for the stuffed mushrooms, but still very good. Definitely bringing my family again. Love supporting a local dive!
Dont you dare go eat at Olive Garden ever again....this is Italian food. Amazing food and great portion sizes for takeout.
Really enjoyed my first time here. We had the Angelo’s Special minus the anchovies and a pepperoni pizza. The cook on it was great!! Can’t wait to go back and have a different dish.
Really glad I stumbled across this authentic Italian restaurant. The first review I read said 'authentic fine dining'..We ordered the Caprese Salad, Veal Parmigiana, Baked Ziti and Fettuccine Primavera. Everything was really good and like I said authentic. That homemade tomato sauce I absolutely delicious and those flavors. Wow!!! Definitely recommend Little Italy!
Little Italy is solid Italian-American cuisine in San Antonio. I ordered the Chicken Piccata in a lemon butter garlic sauce with capers, as well as spaghetti in a garlic butter sauce. The dish was tasty and the spaghetti was perfectly cooked. The sauces were delicious. My only criticism is that the chicken piccata felt drenched in the lemon butter garlic sauce. Maybe cut back a tad on the sauce or serve the spaghetti on the same plate to help limit the amount of lemon butter sauce. Other than that, I would totally eat this dish again and I will DEFINITELY be back to eat at Little Italy. I love this place.
My wife and I searched for a family-owned restaurant in the area. We found this little gem online. The restaurant has been open since 1983, so by no means is it updated. We were seated and promptly visited. We ordered a couple of appetizers (cheese bread and the caprese salad), the seafood soup, and the Taste of Italy pizza. The food had such deep flavor. We cannot wait to return to try more dishes.
Love this place. Always a great place to meet a friend when nearby.They have always been consistent with good food, but I have to say, the last time I was in they had stepped up their service level to absolutely awesome. Everyone from the busser, server & nearby staff checked on us and kept waters full. So friendly! We couldn't stop talking about how great the service was as we left. In these labor shortage times it was an absolutely great experience and I have no doubt the owner appreciates their staff bc these employees were happy and attentive.And of course delicious food. Some unique traditional Italian dishes. Fresh free pizza sample as soon as you sit down. The dessert case was so beautiful and tempting. Chicken Alfredo was delicious. I've actually tried a few different menu items and it's been a consistent enough place I feel comfy trying new dishes.I really can't say enough good things so I'll just say go. It's pretty awesome to see a local restaurant just keep getting better.
Best hidden gem in San Antonio! My husband and I have always loved this place and it’s our go to for special occasions. Today Joshua was our waiter, it was one of the best experiences we have ever had! He went above and beyond, was extremely down to earth and so sweet. He made our date night one to remember, just by his awesome service. You can tell he truly enjoys his job and loves talking to people. The food was delicious and the wait time was not very long because they all had a sense of urgency getting people seated. Keep up the great work Little Italy, and Joshua, thank you so much for being you. Can’t wait to visit you all again! ❤️❤️
Great food. Great service. Our server was extremely helpful and knew all about the menu, helping us pick out vegetarian options. Our dinner was delicious. The mixed olive bowl was wonderful. The portions for everything were just right. Lasagna was great. They were very busy when we visited, but we still got our food hot and fresh without much of a wait. We had a very good overall experience at Little Italy. We will be back!!
I ordered and picked up, I got to say we were impressed by the flavor of the food! This is a new restaurant for us and I asked the fam if they liked it, they all did! Next time we will dine in as the place looks incredibly cozy ?
