Here now, no breakfast after 11. But open at 10. That’s dumb. Server very slow to take order. No chorizo, no coffee, no tamales, no desebrada. Food is good when things are prepared and organized here. Bad for repeat business.

Great tacos, but the service sucked. That's why I'm giving 2 stars. We came ordered then 10 mins later they tell us they didn't have the meat we ordered for the tacos or torta we ordered and we were going to have to wait 15 mins for the meat to arrive. Why wasn't that told to us in the first place, unprofessional.
A group of 9 of us came to eat at this place. When it's a group of 6 or more a 15% gratuity is added. We ordered corn in a cup, tacos, chicken nuggets fries, lemonade quesadilla etc. The waitress forgot to bring someones drink then forgot to bring their food. The corn in a cup was salty, all three people that ordered it agree that it was salty. The tacos weren't very flavorful. When it came time to pay, the cashier which was also our waiter didn't say the total, she just would tell us to insert the card. When asked if the tip was already included, she said it wasn't(even though it clearly was), it seemed a little shady. Two of us ended up going back to fix the issue. Over all it just wasn't a good experience. I personally wouldn't go back but I wish them well.
The food was not good. We ordered Mexican corn in a cup, chicken nuggets, fries, quesadilla. The cups, being styrofoam, looked like they’d been microwaved. It was too salty. They forgot one persons whole order. The agua de Jamaica was alright. Could use a little less sugar but not bad. We left a cash tip because we were told gratuity was not included, which was fine…until we all noticed we were over charged. Some were charge a lot more than the tip. My cousin was over charged by $8. They wouldn’t tell us our total, just to insert our credit cards. When confronted, they “didn’t put that in there.” If you plan on eating here, ask for a receipt and check it.
I asked for best tacos and this was suggested. Thank u Jesus! Talk about shut ur mouth! Instead of chips chicharrones de harina with their amazing salsa. We had to get seconds. I ordered the tacos Tlquepaque this sauce was soi unique and DELICIOUS! PERFECT! We also tried the Quesadilla de pastor..nice n big and AMAZING! We had the Jamaica and Tamarindo.. not overly sweet like most places. MELISSA was our waitress. So accommodating sweet and super cute! Loved her! The owner Arturo very nice...Just great peeps! Will go back for more! Don't just think about going DO IT!
Friendly staff and good service . The food was ok, but I had ordered tacos de trompo. Which is suppose to be meat sliced from a spinning top. Well it was more like added smoke flavor and oven cooked. I never saw a trompo . And on the real trompo is suppose to have pineapple slices in between the layers of meat.as it cooks. They put some pineapple.chunks in the plate, but it's not the same
First time eating here & the food was incredibly delicious. The service was great and the food came out in a fast timely manner. This place has become one of my top fav eateries here in SA. Highly recommend checking this place out. The interior is decorated beautifully as well.
I've been here a few times and the food has been good. As the name suggests, this is typical food from Monterrey. Today I tried the "Torta de la Barda"( which is actually from Tampico). It was excellent. I ordered online and it was hassle free. The torta was perfect. It was full of pork and the combination of all the ingredients were delicious; the cheese ham and chorizo were spot on.The bread was nice and toasted. The price, I thought at fist , was a little expensive, but once I opened my order, I realized it was a good deal. It also comes with fries and two kinds of salsa. I only ate half. It was well worth it.I recommended taquería de Monterrey.
