I joined a group for lunch on a weekday. I tried the chicken parmesan and the eggplant parmesan and both were absolutely delicious!! The place is really small so make sure you have reservations before you arrive.

Welcome to The Hidden Pearl of The West Side!!!This is real Italian food! Before I get into how great the food was, let me tell you about the service and how this place really cares. First always try to set reservations the are no guarantee walk ins. They are always packed-PACKED! However this particular day as busy as they always are, my wife asked about the wait we were told 20min. Now we were in a time crunch. I needed to pick up my son from his acting classes at 8pm. The host saw us walking to our car, he actually came knocked on our window and asked if I could give him just a second he would have a table that just left cleared for us in less than two min. Now I will tell you I am Blessed but I have never had a restaurant care that much to follow us to our car. I will not forget their loyalty to their customers. If you love Italian food this is the place to eat it in S.A.I am writing this review a little late, I am currently moving. I had one of the veal plates, It was the freshest beal & pasta I have had in S.A. Easily better than Peasanos butter garlic sauce. Give the the pearl of the west side your business- your tummy will thank you.

I went on a college tour around this restaurant and thought it would be a good place to stop and eat. The atmosphere was very off in my opinion, but nothing I wasn't used to. The service was friendly and fast for what it is. The appraiser Garlic cheese bread was very delicious and worthy of a trip back. The main course however, was much to be desired. It was overly salty and not much flavor for what it was. The sauce tasted like chef boyardee which wasn't what I was expecting. And the price was reasonable for two people so not many complaints there. But all around, I would recommend this place, just make sure to say light salt if you order the chicken parm.

Run, do not walk to this place, but be sure to make a reservation! Amazing service, a great ambiance and most importantly the food was Uh...May...Zing! The pricing was great, comparable to other big name "Italian" restaurants but why go there when you can have so much more!

First when we parked, it smelled amazing. The staff is very friendly and polite. This is a locals favorite for sure. The apatizers, stuffed mushrooms and garlic cheese bread have a great flavor. The stuffed Mushrooms start with a good size Mushroom and stuffed with their homemade meatballs, garlic and other spices, and mozzarella cheese. Then served with marinara sauce.and baked to perfection. The Pork Chop is just plain GOOD!. It has a Spicy marinara sauce and a spaghetti on the other side. The pork chop is pan fried and steering hot when it was served. My wife had the Tri Color. This consists of Chicken cutlets, Artichokes, Asparagus, and Spaghetti with Motzarella. She is in heaven. We are in San Antonio for our son's USAF Graduation and my Wife found this gem/hole-in the -wall. You will miss it if you try to find it, but it has a To Die For Taste.Find this place, we will come here again, even though we live in OC CA. It's that good. With drinks, under $70.00, any place else, well over $100.00.

Delicious food, very good service. Has become our favorite place for Italian food. Everything taste fresh and well made.

Small place but big on taste ?? parking is limited, reservations are a good idea... And worth it. Had the garlic cheese bread as an app, very tasty. Lasagna with a salad, delicious ? fast and friendly service, shout out to the servers ✌?
