Not what I expected on the food. I ordered a plate that came with fish, shrimp and oysters. Fish were small pieces oysters were over cooked. And literally a hand full of fries. For the price we paid I just expected a little more. But oh well.
Had a very drunk customer sitting behind us. The wait staff kept serving him alcohol even though the gentleman clearly already had too much to drink. Absolutely made the experience of having a father's day dinner unbearable.
We were passing through town and wanted seafood. We saw their sign and located them. Ordered fish and shrimp, fried and grilled. Both were delicious. Thanks
Horrible service. It's worth the drive to go to the one on poplar. They also served me a dish different than every other location. When I re ordered they still charged me for both even though the first wasn't touched and it is NEVER usually served that way.
Great fish. The fries are delicious too. You’ve gotta get a pupusa too. They take a few minutes to make, so order them ahead.
Long time favorite. Still some of the best fish in town. Shrimp cocktail is loaded with shrimp.
Seafood platter was great but the fish fillets could have been bigger. They were about the size of small chicken strips, as were the fillets on my wife's fish plate. Also, is there ever any dressing for the salad?
Horrible!!! If I could give less than 1 star O would! Paid a $35 for food that was GARBAGE!! Ceviche tasted like a dirty refrigerator ( that's the best way to describe it) just old and nasty. I called my waitress to let her know and so she could remove it from my ticket. All she did was apologize that I didn't "like" it. I explained that it wasn't that I didn't like it, IT WASN'T GOOD! regardless I paid for the trash so as not to look like a "Karen" but I will NEVER be back again and I'm telling everyone how trash La Playa is!!!!
Not good at all. Popusas we’re not fully cooked.I ordered a fajita plate as well… the meat was supper hard to take a bit and chew. I used to come here 2 years ago and food was great back then. I don’t know if they changed ownership or new chefs.
Prices are always fluctuating even before covid. Communication barrier can cause a wrong order. overall food is good
