All the Puerto Rican staples you could want! Pernil, arroz con gandules, rellenas de papa, alcapurria fresh made and delicious. Not only that but all the Puerto Rican groceries you need for home: pan sobao, malta, cola champagne, homemade sofrito, adobo, sazón, etc etc.We came a little late for lunch with a craving for rellenas de papa and they were so sweet to fry up some fresh ones for us. La Garita is family owned/operated and has the kindest staff. Stop in and try something new.

Great spot for a quick lunch. They seem to have limited hours as they close after lunch. I had an empanada with crab legs (which I think was imitation), an empanada with guayaba and cheese and a sorullo (stuffed with cheese) for $8. They have like 8 chairs all in a row facing outward. Wish they would have more prices listed -- kinda informal. Glad I came. This in a shopping center. They also have a variety of Caribbean groceries.

Had the meat pies and they were good just needed a bit more flavor. Bought a quesito and it was pretty good. They had some chicken that smelled awesome but didn't have time to stay and eat. Definitely will go back again

service was great ,and the food was very good.se los recomiendo.

Excellent homemade Puerto Rican food!! Friendly service. Excellent quality and value for the price. The pasteles and alcapurrias are homemade and delicious. There’s also frozen and refrigerated specialties to cook / prepare at home. Love that there are a variety of daily hot specials. Don’t miss out on the best pressed Cuban that I have had anywhere. Seriously, this is worth a trip. It’s worth lots of trips!!!

Food is okNeed improve the flavorThe price In the items and food is kind of high

Not a big variety but hey, it's PR food. Clean, nice store.

Nice to find a place with Puerto Rican food.

Prices are a bit high, but the people are nice and polite..
