Really special place and so glad it's open again! The best place to enjoy mussels outside of Brussels. Affordable, great service, wonderful wine selection, and they have Hoegaarden on tap! It's one of my favorite places in San Antonio, and makes me feel as if I'm back in Europe.
Every single thing we had was amazing! The mussels are fresh, fries are so damn tasty, steak cooked to perfection. Do not hesitate, worth the reservation and price!
Just an all-around GREAT place to have a wonderful meal and be served by top-shelf staff. Nothing stuffy or affected about this place at all...just delicious food, awesome Belgian beers...on DRAFT too...and great times await! Go here and not some pretentious cafe/bistro/trattoria run by a faceless mega corp. or some trendy chef with only a first name who named the resto 'beet-root' or 'the foam kollectiv'.
The food is absolutely amazing!!! We will be going back again tomorrow!! I want to try it all and the service was awesome too!! Definitely stop here, you won't be disappointed! And the best fries I've ever had!!
Food was amazing, mussels, ham and cheese crepe, fritze with real curry sauce!!!!! It took me back to Brussels ? . Staff was amazing as well.
Entered the restaurant at 7:45. They brought out the mussels fairly fast. But my other appetizer came out at 9:15!!! Then another twenty minutes for the entrees. Overall spent 2 hrs waiting for food, which in my opinion was worth the wait because it was fresh and delicious. But if you lost our ticket or know there is a back up in the kitchen you should let your table know and offer bread or something. If we were anyone else we probably would have left because the wait was so long.
This was recommended to us as a special place for dinner. Atmosphere was lacking. Food was not worth the price. Service was not that good. Also, the server was cussing out some guy for parking where he did - very unprofessional. Overall, this was not as good as expected.
We had different versions of the mussels with fries. I had the basques and my wife had the Thai. Both were extremely tasty. The fries were really good. The beer menu was very good. I had a blonde ale. Service was very good and attentive.
very lively restaurant, the manager was extremely attentive and helpful. the mussels are amazing, i would recommend the mariniere over the provencale broth. we also had the steak au poivre and onglet avec frites...... i recommend the onglet.....oh my goodness so flavorful. a great restaurant and we will come back when we are in san antonio again. a little on the pricey side to make a regular visit if we were living in the city
Spur of the moment find after visit a few local microbreweries. Mussels and two small plates were amazing. Wine recommended by wait staff amazing. Pear tart, creme brûlée and coffee finished up an amazing meal. Visiting SATX from Chicago. This was an amazing meal - didn’t miss out on second night of Mexican meals. Great find
