This is the second LA Crawfish place I have been to and it was terrible, pho just straight up taste like MSG.Crawfish wasn't fresh, about 15% of it I got were just head cut off from the body, or crawfish was smashed.Not to mention there was ZERO spice level, or any flavor. This was the worst crawfish I ever had.Don't waste your time.
My friends and I walked in and ordered our food and couldn’t help but notice they are serving alcoholic drinks now, apparently they just opened a bar there! Sweet right? Well, Barbara or whatever her name is (old lady) was working the bar. She literally started making these drinks from a recipe book. I was sitting there a solid 10 minutes to get the drinks. I was trying to be nice and just be patient because, well, that’s someone’s grandmother and I don’t want to be rude. I ordered the Paloma and Melon Bomb. Got to the table, drinks were so bitter and disgusting, I couldn’t even fake or stomach it, so I told the manager I didn’t want to hurt Barbara’s feelings but I would very much like it to be removed from the bill, instead he was kind and offered to remake them. He did and it was better but after that Barbara was extremely passive aggressive asking us is everything okay. Not to mention, they messed up our order and put the wrong sauce then wanted to charge us for extra sauce. It was just a mess. Barbara came by our table another two times “to check on us” but was extremely passive aggressive and made my entire table uncomfortable, and here I am in the beginning not wanting to hurt her feelings, wow. Just wow. She needs to retire and they need to hire an actual bartender or train someone else because granny drinks ain’t it.
Great food fast friendly service. Had an issue with order they fixed it and made me feel like it was okay to point out the issue. Food was fresh and well seasoned. Will come back soon. Also loved the new bar the mule was awesome.
First time I ordered from them I had a fly in my extra sauce I ordered they offered to remake my order that was fine now the next time I order from them my Shrimps was so Mushy so once again they offered to remake my order here I am on March 6, 2022 picking up my remake order as I get done eating my shrimp I noticed something black come to find out it’s another bug I’m not sure if it’s a cricket or a Wasps but all I know is when I ordered my shrimps I didn’t ask for a side of cricket/wasps I will never eat at this location ever again I should have learned my lesson the first time when I received my sauce with a fly in it.
We got some crabs, shrimp and corn in garlic butter sauce and it was bland, seafood didn't taste fresh and corn tasted weird like it was bad or something...Got the "awesome seafood garlic noodles" and it was the best item we got but was really salty. Overall a very disappointing meal.
Truly awesome customer service! I asked for custom rice based on my food allergies, not only did they create a dish for me, but it was delicious! We also ordered as a family pho, chicken wings and chicken bits and the entire family was happy. Tip: 5 Spice Basil on your chicken is a must! I will return. This is THE BEST location in all of San Antonio.
I didn't take great pics and I apologize in advance. i was excited and also trying to hurry since we came in late! ? Food was decent and staff was insanely friendly! Even though we came in late (an hour before close), we were not rushed at all! I talked to the server about my only two concerns, I wasn't a fan of the melted butter (it just tasted fake, like margarine or something) and definitely need lobster/crab forks- a lot of missed meat just grabbing with your fingers ? I want to come back and try some other menu options. Oh and their bar opens next week for Crawfish season!
I love LA Crawfish. Its my go to place to feed the kids when Ive had a busy day and have no time to cook. However todays experience left me scratching my head. I didnt get the name of the lady who helped me, Hopefully the management will read this and recognize who she is. but she was a caucasion woman who really didnt seem to care about customer service, cleanliness or even her job from what I could tell. She talked back in a rude manner when I asked to repeat my order, and gave me a disgusting look as if I wasnt welcome there. With that said the Seafood baskets are the Bomb!! and I would give 10 stars if that were all I'm judging this onI will be back as long as Im not treated so badly next time
Pretty disappointed. Called for an order. I asked if they were using live crawfish now and they said yes. Ordered about $87 worth of crawfish. They were definitely not live before boiling. It's real easy to taste and feel the difference from using live or frozen for cooking.
Great flavored fried oysters and more fries than I could eat. Very friendly staff with quick service. Next I try the calamari.
