It was my first time trying Indian food and it was absolutely phenomenal!!! Two of the waiters were very friendly and helpful but the older man (possibly owner) was very rude. That is why I am giving it 4 stars. We still had about 20 minutes before closing time and they were all staring us down waiting for us to leave, which I understand but still. The chicken was cooked perfectly for all dishes and so was the lamb. The samosas were okay but very fresh and the cheese appetizer was pretty good too. Definitely try if you are in the area.

Fantastic and Flavorful!Of course, ordered my two guilty pleasures - Masala Tea (hot tea steaped with oils and spices) and my precious Kashimiri Naan bread (Naan filled with nuts and fruits). A bread soooo good I will drive 45-min across town to have, place 2 orders at dinner because I am definitely not sharing with my husband and get another order to go (because it is fantastic for breakfast the next day), yes I like it that much!!!We started with an assortment of papadum with sauces which is always crisp and light. We decided to order the Spinach Pakora which is spinach leaves dipped in batter from beans and deep fried. I don't like my Popeye the Sailor greens but I scarf these down like potato chips.Next we had the Paneer Tikka appetizer and OMG, little of the lime on top and how can you beat spiced fried cheese with onions and a pickled slaw.We finished off with two vegetable dishes even though we are not vegetarians. Sag Paneer and Malai Korma which were served with perfect rice, medium spice because I like the spice to make my nose run a little. After our satisfyingly decadent meal, we packed up our leftovers and took my tomorrow Naan (LOL) and headed foe the long drive home happy and ready for the next cross town trip.

Best Indian food in SA no doubt. We've been coming here for 10+ years and the quality is consistently great. I don't know what magic wand they have in the kitchen but the food is a lot more flavorful than other Indian places we've tried. And we've tried them all around here. Service is always great and prices are very reasonable (I always take home leftovers and take out orders are enough for 2+ meals per entree)

My wife and I love Indian food and this is our favorite Indian Restaurant in San Antonio! The food is wonderful and we love the atmosphere. Their bathrooms are very clean and always stocked which is not always the case for restaurants in town. If you like Indian food you can't go wrong visiting them. They won a ton of awards which you will see upon entry and rightly so for consistently providing a great dining experience. Thank you! Best wishes. See you soon!

This place is better eaten as take out. My office orders lunch from this place at least every other week so I thought why not try eating dinner there.I took my family in for dinner tonight and my son and I were ignored for about 20 minutes. When sat a gentleman started speaking Spanish to me for some reason. Maybe my hair color ??‍♀️. I quickly assured him that I didn’t speak Spanish. I also had to flag someone down to order a appetizers and drinks. My husband arrived around that time and he also felt everyone was treating us differently. There was no assigned staff to our table and each time we flagged someone down to help us. Very disappointed.

Wow — just outstanding. I've lived in 3 states and have been a little disappointed in the Indian restaurants in all of them... until now. SA has some other good Indian restaurants but this one stands alone for me. Fantastic flavors and terrific staff. A definite favorite.

Fresh flavorful food, second to none.

First time in 10 years having Indian cuisine and this place is very good!! Buffet style! Great service!

Rude person , we waited 15 min before they brought bread on table. When we asked about bread guy got mad . I would not recommend anyone. Food was too oily and it seems like samosa were refired again. I would like if health department check this place. I don’t know If owner is aware of this. I would never go back. cockroach all over . ????

My girlfriend never had Indian food before so I decided to take here here and she ended up loving it! We both got Chicken mahkani, as well as garlic Naan and paneer pakori (fried cheese) and it all tasted so good. Great comfort food! ♡
