great service and food was delicious
Lunch was great. My waitress Lamaria was excellent and very kind and patient and attentive. There was a waiter named James. He was so rude to other customers. He was short with them and even called them "entitled"!! You DO NOT treat customers like that! And you DO NOT speak about customers in front of OTHER customers! He has no business working at IHOP.
My first disappointing meal at an IHOP. First there were no lights at all in the parking lot. The signs were not on at all. If I hadn’t been using GPS to locate them I would not have known where to turn in. I stood for at least three minutes at the hostess stand waiting to be acknowledged. There was a young man doing set-ups in plain view. He never alerted anyone to my presence. Once seated the server was fast efficient and friendly. She was also helpful with the menu. My coffee was hot and fresh. I always have an omelette. They are usually very big and fluffy being that they have a portion of pancake batter in with the eggs and they usually cover a good portion of the plate. This one did not. The filling ingredients were very sparse also. I ate a quarter of the omelette before finding anything but egg and cheese. It was the poblano omelette. It was very skimpy on fillings and toppings. The hash browns as always were well prepared and tasty. It was the first time I have felt disappointed in spending $24 on an omelette, coffee and tip. I tipped 20% because the service was great. The totally dark uninviting parking lot and poor food means I’ll avoid this location in the future.
I will never be returning here. We got there a little after 1 am for some quick food and then we planned to leave. Me and my friends are all good service so we know how things can be. Which is why this makes me angrier. It rakes 10 minutes to get seated. So we sit down look at the menu and we never saw the server again we waited nearly 15 minutes and nothing so we justwalked out. And saw that there was maybe 2 other tables.
The night manager was our waitress. It was pretty busy there and late; well after midnight. Yet no wait. We got seated as soon as we walked in. The manager did a great job even with her hurt foot. We did not order much. Tea and biscuits and gravy is all. Our order made it to our table in no time at all. The tea was cold and sweet and the biscuits and gravy was piping hot. Good food and good service.
We were visiting San Antonio for a few days and went to have breakfast. They had given us 1 hour wait but we were seated in half the time. Our server was nice and did a good job. The food was cold when we got it but we didn't complain about it. The next day we just went to a different restaurant for breakfast which ended up being worse than this one
Good food, fast service & our server, Jeremiah, went above & beyond. 10/10 would recommend
Said the wait would be 10-20 minutes, definitely WAS NOT. Waited at least 40 minutes while other tables who came in after us were being seated. Severely short staffed so not cleaning tables and not getting food out quickly, ended up leaving along with 4 other parties.Highly suggest Magnolia Pancake Haus. About the same ACTUAL wait time, and much better service and food.
Worst experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. Waitress finally came after 15min to get our drink and food order. 20min later we finally get our drinks. 30min later food comes, no silverware. She went to get some then never came back. Had to go find another waiter to ask for silverware. By the time we got some the food was cold. Asked for basic things like syrup for the Pancakes, salt and hot sauce.. She'd bring one then disappear. Will never go back.
Visit was dine-in after midnight Jan 27th. We were hangry after a long work day. The waitress was excellent: friendly, attentive. The food was served promptly and tasted great. Price for 2 hungry guys was about $33.
