Mackenzie, Maggie, Matt, DJ Sebastian, you are the best In customer service!!! They went above and beyond! As the valets upon arrival they are the first ones we meet as we arrive, so their service will give you an idea of what to expect from the Hotel overall. They were so friendly and accommodating! I felt safe and it was like coming home really!! We did have a problem upon arrival, our room, that we reserved and upgraded was not available! There was no explanation given although, we, again made a reservation specifically for that room! The room the substituted for us was ok, but we should have received a refund of the upgrade at least. The wait staff though, went above and beyond to help! The room we were given was having an issue with the AC , it was so hot in my room and the front desk were just so nice as to give me a fan to use during our stay! This hotel is so clean!! Our room smelled so fresh as we came in! I definitely recommend this Hyatt Regency for their cleanliness and superb customer service to stay when you visit San Antonio!!
John T provides us with fast, friendly and very helpful service. Loaded all our bags with great care and really exemplified great service!! Total experience with service at the Hyatt was excellent. Well done to all.
Staying at the Hyatt for a business trip was great: clean room, nice and friendly staff, Q Restaurant was alright. However, upon arrival and departure, the valet staff were super helpful, very professional and their customer service was top notch!! Isaac and John T. were super courteous and assisted us loading our luggage, thanked us for staying at The Hyatt AND invited us back next time we are in San Antonio, which happens to be my favorite city!! I have never been asked to return by the valet staff, and these young men were happy to help us, were clean and professional, and just kind gentlemen to us 3 ladies!!
Traveling for a business trip, access to Riverwalk is nice. Hotel is clean, updated, and very accommodating. Right in the heart of all the great things San Antonio has to offer, so access was very easy, and walkable in most situations.
I had an excellent experience at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio. Jose checked us in and gave us a birthday bag with a bottle of wine for my “21st birthday.” He was very friendly at check in and checkout. We had an easy time with the valet. Jorge made sure to check my husband’s ID since we left the ticket in the room when we left for an outing. John T was friendly and had the truck ready and waiting for us when we were ready to leave after checkout. I will absolutely return for another stay.
John was an absolute class act in both valet and customer service. He was the only valet I saw running to retrieve vehicles. He went out of his way to ensure we had the best visit. Also his braids are of the highest quality.
We had an excellent stay! We will be back in the future. The staff was professional and accommodating. The hotel was clean and the location could not have been better. The bar staff and Q staff were top notch!
The location combined with the hospitality from the staff, leaves no option but to stay here. It's centrally located, great views of the town and last but not least, it is located on the River Walk. I couldn't ask for much more

Paid for a suite for anniversary evening - Cons: disappointed in the view (outside one whole wall you got to see apartments and their windows along with big trash cans and along the other, your primary view with a big alley with a very small view of riverwalk, lights in room and bathroom not working, scratches on the furnishings that were very noticible, remotes switched up and took a while to figure that out, no room service offered, ac only went down to 67 and ran all night, literally, just to stay that low, fan also pointed at the bed so at least one person had the ac blowing in their face all night, charger next to bed had not been installed back in night stand like the other side was, room was small for the price, app did not work the entire time we were there, restaurant menus for spots downstairs were limited and difficult to review, no lighting in the showers and no fans in bathrooms so it was pretty dim and stayed damp without a mirror view unless you opened the bathroom door. Pros: good location, across from Laundrys, had a pool table in the room and 3 tvs, 2 bathrooms.
