"Rainforest roll" absolutely phenomenal! The fresh spicy tune topping off this roll makes for an amazingly flavorful savory roll! WOW!THANK YOU HOTARU! We need more sushi restaurants like this.
Amazing little find. Great food. Great staff. The quality of the sushi was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and try it . We are glad we did . Will be regulars.
Stumbled across this place in a new shopping center across from Fralos. Great atmosphere, cozy and nice but not pretentious. Staff were all very friendly and the food was awesome. We had a couple sushi rolls (spicy tuna, shaggy dog) and a hibachi dinner. Healthy portions for all and reasonable pricing. Will definitely be back!
I normally don't leave bad reviews but I feel that even bad reviews are needed if a business really wants to improve. We visited on Saturday May 7th in the early afternoon, party of 3. Most tables were taken and we waited to have a booth cleaned. After about 10 minutes we were finally seated. We waitress took our drink order. We order iced tea but when brought to the table, the drinks had no ice. She took our order, wife and daughter ordered 2 different rolls each. I ordered the Riverwalk and the Rainbow rolls. After about 15 minutes rolls started coming at separate intervals. The wife and daughter got their rolls as ordered. After my Riverwalk roll was brought to me, I waited but our waitress never came back to bring my second roll or check on us. We finished and waited for our check. She brought the check and the Rainbow roll I ordered but never received was listed. I politely told her I never received it and to remove it from the check.Our first time visiting and I know things were somewhat busy but just wish our waitress would have come by at least once or twice. At some point we'll be by to try it again. Hopefully it will be a better experience than our first.Here's a pic of the one roll I did get. The Riverwalk roll and it was delicious!
Hibachi with out the hibachi tables and performance but same price :(I removed one star because of this. Food is excellent. Will return only if family does not want the traditional hibachi performance.
Fantastic food and such a nice staff. Only managed to grab a pic of the salad (perfect dressing) but everything was picture perfect.
I must say, I have not been this disappointed in service and food in a very long while. For the service, we had a new waitress that was extremely nice, but needed experienced help for a bit longer. As for the food, it was not prepared as requested. Of a table of four, three of the dinners were not satisfactory. After being asked multiple times of how we would like our steak and chicken cooked, it still was prepared incorrectly. We requested medium and we received overcooked similar to jerky. After informing the manager of our experience, their reply was they are sorry and gave only a $14 discount out of a bill that totalled $150...unsatisfactory. Me, my wife and our guest will not be coming here again. Save your money and go elsewhere for a better experience.
First visit. Very enjoyable. Family had 3 excellent hibachi meals, and 2 really good rolls. Maybe it's in work, but a full bar would be nice. They do have a nice selection of wine and Sake.
Newer restaurant, was told by the owner they haven't had their Grand Opening yet. So get there now before the crowds find this gem. Food was good, service was quick and professional. Will definitely be returning to try the Sushi.I had the Teriyaki Chicken Hibachi with Gyoza for an appetizer. Good portions, everything was tasty. Meal came with soup and salad.
