Our party of 3 were all vegetarian, and we had trouble deciding on what to eat because there was such a great variety of dishes on the menu and they all sounded amazing. I got the Mediterranean style bowl and the flavors were spot on. The dolmas were tender without being soggy, the falafel had a nice and crisp exterior with a soft but hearty interior. The dressing on the kale salad was a citrusy delight that I'm still trying to replicate in my own kitchen. This restaurant will even satisfy your omnivore friends!
Amazing vegetarian/vegan restaurant.I had the spicy beefless wrap and was delicious! The portion was a bit small for the price for me, but the taste was great. It had sweet and salty notes, reminiscent of Korean BBQ flavor, and pretty spicy. We also had the nachos appetizer which was actually pretty large, and fed 5 of us. Lastly, we also order the cinnamon roll because it was simply gigantic. At $12 , it’s a pretty good deal for the massive pastry, which they warm up for you before serving. It was actually really good! Of course I wish it was fresh, but we knew what we bought. The staff is super friendly too which was definitely an added bonus.
Green remains one of my favorite vegan/vegetarian restaurants. I’m a huge fan of the different bowl options and always end up with a choice that I enjoy. The protein bowl was no different. It was absolutely loaded with different and delicious flavors and was very filling, a great option for a healthier dinner.I was in the area picking up something from a store nearby when I decided to stop by Green for dinner to go. I ordered online with the ASAP option but it still took about 40 mins to prepare, so take note if you are looking for something faster. I didn’t mind waiting though and the food was actually ready a tiny bit earlier than I had expected.
The original vegetarian/vegan restaurant in San Antonio! New menu is great and vegan desserts are delicious. Vegan chicken sandwich is fantastic.
The tomato basil soup, and quinoa wrap were way to salty for my taste. The server was super nice but there was some sort of challenge in the kitchen. They were nice to discount the meal without having to ask or complain. I'll be back at some point to try a different meal but I won't make it a point to go out of my way. Good luck. I think it's worth a try.
Excellent healthy options and fresh plant based ingredients! Very well packaged. The Mediterranean bowl bursts with flavor!
I really wanted to give them more stars but the steak wrap was extremely salty so I couldn’t enjoy it like I wanted to. The nachos were decent but also salty. I suggest adding steak on top of the nachos to make it all come together and backing down on the salt. I did not enjoy any of the sauces like the ranch or spicy mayo or sour cream. The ranch tasted more like cilantro dressing and the sour cream was sweet. The sweet potato fries were soggy and disappointing. Overall dissatisfied. Two stars because customer service was good and because the cucumber water was also good.
Since our family is largely vegetarian, we looked for a restaurant that would serve vegetarian dinner in San Antonio. Of course, for an Indian family, visit to an Indian Restaurant would serve the purpose but we were looking for variety. The menu offered many choices. Each of us among the group of six ordered different items. All dishes were delicious. All staff were smiling, happy and pleasant. Special thanks to our waitress, Hailey.
Visited the restaurant on a weekday after a long wait since the restaurant is closed on sat and Sundays are bit crowded.Monty helped us from the time we entered the hotel and really appreciate his hospitality. Ambience is very good and the outside dine-in looks warm than inside dine-in. We ordered lot of items but the price was reasonable. Cheese burger was so good and would def. recommend here. #HappyDining
The best plant based vegetarian restaurants in the city. The menu has lot of plant based protein options and my favorite is the Korean beef bowl. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Must visit place.
