After the mySA article published, Tee Pham reached out to me. The article touched his heart and he hopes to one day be able to do for his parents as I'm doing with Dad.He runs @gongchasatx, a Taiwanese franchise for bubble tea and @lacrawfishsanantonio. Tee invited us out to @gongchasatx Alamo Ranch to check it out. There's also another location on Bandera.Dad had the Strawberry Latte, I had the Strawberry Milk Tea and my husband had the Lychee Passionfruit Green Tea. They treated us to the Bubble Waffle, which is similar to Kuma.We had a really nice time chatting to get to know each other's family.As we were leaving, Kevin, Tee's brother, sent us off with 2 more complimentary drinks. Such hospitality and generosity.My favorite is the strawberry jelly with the Mango Milk Tea.Definitely worth checking out!
Love this place! The menu is simple and easy to read. The customer service is pleasant and they are polite when answering questions or adding customizations to drinks. They have games in the back if you want to play with friends! The Strawberry Milk tea & Spiked Brown sugar milk tea are my favs!
Great place. I had some kind of milk tea with almond milk and little bubble berries on top. It was so delicious. I'm not much of a tea person but this drink was amazing. I definitely will be going back soon. Clean place and friendly staff too!
Best bubble tea in this area! You can try other bubble tea shops but you will always come back to Gong Cha. The restaurant is so pretty. I love the decorations there. The menu is so amazing and everything is so great. If you are craving sweet it’s a good place to be satisfied! Do you want a bubble tea? Then go there!!!
I've been saying this for a while now, but I think this is exactly what San Antonio is missing! No not just a great spot to get boba tea, but a better variety in our dining and drinking experience. Gong Cha is a refreshing change of pace for San Antonio with Beautiful, but not over the top decor, incredible service and delicious teas and coffees! I have been and will continue to recommend this place to as many people as possible! Keep it up!
Delicious milk tea ? love it! I tried 50% sugar and taste really good. They have outdoor seating too!
Earl grey milk tea and dirty brown sugar were boom? I used to not like gongcha that much but this location changes my mind. Don’t need to listen to me but y’all should order those with 50% sugar so that you can taste the flavor of the tea as well. It was supposed to be my cheat day but it was so good that I drank it nonstop and wanted to get another one.
Great boba and amazing atmosphere
Great variety of flavors to choose from. Prices were very reasonable and the staff was very friendly. We definitely will be coming back. They also have a rewards program for extra discounts.
I have to say their bubble is it’s probably the best I’ve had in my life!!! And I really love bubble tea!I tried the most poplar drink Creme Brûlée Milk Latte and I understand why it’s so popular. It’s super creamy, sweet and the bubbles are perfect. The cream on top adds a nice touch!The other one I tried is their seasonal one the Matcha Spooky latte. The matcha is delicious and is the perfect combo with the bubble tea! I loved that flavor too. Between both I would go with the Creme Brûlée though! Yum!
