The food good the service was great I
This location is ok. It's seems very small for a golden corral. The food was alright and didn't have much variety. I asked for Mac and cheese and they didn't even have any. Feels very congested here. I went to use the restroom and they were very filthy and not even clean. This is why I give it a 2 stars. Not to mention this was my first time coming here since I'm not from San Antonio.
I only eat here to make my son happy, twice a month. I do not want to hurt his feelings. The food is just alright. My son likes the brisket, fried chicken (when it comes out fresh), dinner rolls, ice cream and red velvet cake. I get a salad, barbecue chicken and fajitas. The barbecue chicken and fajita were bland, last Saturday. I tried to get cabbage four times and the serving container was empty each time. The big guy at the grill is super rude when you ask or sausage or steak. The sausage was nasty, this time. They used to have a different kind that was super delicious. I tried the chocolate cake and chocolate covered strawberries and the chocolate tasted like imitation. Our server, Gabby was nice. The table next to us had dirty dishes on it from the time were arrived until after we left. The women’s restroom was dirty.

We love GC, this one is next level! Bigger buffet than many we've been in. Breakfast is our favorite, they have the best bacon, as seen on our plates. People were super friendly and everything was very clean. 5 smiles for them! ?????
To start the pros: Nancy & Norma are the best as far as waitresses go. They are always attentive and always having a good time. They make you feel welcomed.Now the bad: A few weeks ago my son had this roach on his plate. Disgusting needless to say!! The plates are clean for you to serve yourself so I guess the roach came from the food. All the waitress could do was smile, what a disappointment. Now a few weeks later we got a free dinner on our next visit, wow. All we want is a honest apology not an excuse. I hope they take this feedback and learn from it. I understand they fog the place and they try to keep it clean and we appreciate that. It's a shame this happens but customer appreciation is key. We will visit again and hope this experience never happens again. The assistant mngr (Brenda)came and with an attitude said it was an accident. Well it’s not lady it’s a unforgettable incident there’s a difference. And for her to disagree with a customer it’s wrong. No soap in the restroom and bad management service from the assistant manager are the reasons we won’t return. What a shame because we will miss our favorite waitresses.
Went with friends for my birthday. Great selection of food, staff was masked, and restaurant was very clean. Food was excellent and varied. Wait staff was good about keeping our drinks filled and taking away empty plates. Very good experience.
I came here with a large party so they sat us in the party room. Our waiter Jaime was unbelievable fast and polite. I was not impressed with food but when you gave good service like Jaime provided it made the experience a 5⭐. Everything was back to self serve and I would have like to see more sanitizers around the start of the buffet lines. But other then this it was a good day for dinner at Golden Coral. I attended Feb 12th Saturday night! Great job Jaime.
Was there for breakfast on a Sunday. Place was not busy at all. We paid, sat down and not once did the waitress approach us during our time there. Our plates and cups were never picked up either.Thank you Golden Coral! We just saved ourselves $10 in tip!
Everything was fresh n hot!! The server was very nice and on her toes!! I ate a salad some chicken n popcorn shrimp, orka,fried fish, french fries, drank Dr Pepper. And for desert I got a slice of cake, jello, cookies and a muffin!!, So if you're hungry it's an excellent place for your money!! Steaks are extra but remember you only get one steak!! Enjoy your food and your tummy will thank you!!
