Tacos are all good
First of all this was my first time ever eating here. And I have to say great job. I ate the #3 enchilada dinner and I have to say it was very very good tasted just like my mother's enchiladas. The staff are very polite and our waitress was very attentive. We will definitely be coming back. This time I think I might try the breakfast. I just hope it's as good as lunch was. Great job Garcia's Mexican restaurant. Keep it up.
OK to be fair when I first came here about 3-4 years ago I was skeptical about the brisket tacos. I do not eat brisket tacos anywhere in Texas because nobody makes a good brisket taco.. OK that being said I’m glad I tried the brisket taco here on recommendation from my friend Daniel Martinez because it’s the best freaking brisket taco ever looks dry but when you bite into the taco it’s really juicy and you can taste the smoke that they used to cook it I’d highly recommend this restaurant. But also the brisket taco and the Papa con huevo taco is the real winner here !!! That’s why I come here for the papa con Huevo taco because it’s made different from any other place to go to it’s more of a Smashy type mashed potato and egg taco but it’s awesome you should at least try it once
Only have tried the breakfast tacos here. Price range from 2.40 to about 4 dollars a taco, they are good but are very small compared to other vendors.
The red tortillas and their homemade enchilada gravy make their enchiladas the best enchiladas in town. The Andy's nachos are a necessary appetizer.
I had the brisket plate. My wife had the Carne Guisada. Both meals were amazing. The brisket was prepared very well. It was tender and had a good brisket taste. It was not dry. The beef in my wife's meal was very tender and an amazing flavor. The service was exceptional. The young lady that help us was pleasant and always there when we needed her. I wanted brisket tacos. Almost went to a bbq place. Glad I didn't. This is 4th Mexican I have visited in last 3 weeks. Easily the best. I saw some people complain about the portions. Both me and my wife had a real ice portion. We live in Georgia. We've been visiting for the last 3 weeks.
Rating from 1 through 10: So yesterday I was recommended by a friend Marco Santillan to try Garcia Mexican Food enchilada plate. So today I took the 15 minute drive early before the lunch crowd. All I can say OH MY LORD, the BEST ENCHILADA PLATE I ever had in my LIFE. Folks, it obvious I love to eat and if I say it’s EXCELLENT, it’s excellent. I give the rating with 10 being the best, I give it 11. EXCELLENT service, beautiful waitress (Maria) excellent food. I am in HEAVEN baby. I was also told COMEDIAN FLUFFY had lunch here when he was in town 2014 I believe Blanco Cafe, I’m sorry. I found a new enchilada plate at Garcia’s Mexican Food. WOW, JUST WOW.
Great food! The enchiladas with chili and cheese onions, yum. The red sauce only is terrific too, rice, beans are excellent. The wait staff, servers are quick, friendly, and efficient.♥️?
In 2007, a cab driver told us about Garcia's Mexican Food and since then we used to go quite often, pretty good food totally different the one you eat on restaurants, they have their own style (secret recipies) we like it too much.
