Barely gave any gelato, totally not worth two tiny SPOONFULS for 6 bucks. It was mediocre. The employees all kind of had a bad attitude or negative energy, not totally sure.

Cup of salted caramel gelato it taste pretty good

We tried the pineapple, creamy mango, dark chocolate, and hazelnut gelato flavors and they were good. We weren’t as big of a fan of the pina colada drink though, as it had a taste that wasn’t quite what we expected. Overall, we most appreciated the location of Francesco’s Gelato, as we were craving something cold and sweet after visiting the Alamo and walking outside in the hot summer temperature for a while, so its proximity was convenient.

We walked 1/2 mile and arrived at 6:40 and were refused service despite the advertised closing at 7pm. The employee said she was no longer serving gelato. I even told her we specifically walked that far and still she would not serve us. If you want great service go to RIVER STREET SWEETS, SAVANNAH'S CANDY KITCHEN in the Mall. We arrived there at 6:55 and they were happy to have our business, and it was delicious.

absolutely Marvelously Delicious. thank you so very much.

Staff are aloof, if not downright rude. Literally couldn't be bothered to lift her chin from her hand while taking our order. Minimal effort. Booths are ripped and the place looks like a storage room. No hot food. Ice cream was good.

Stumbled upon this gelato shop and it’s cute and yummy. The best part? I loved the variety of flavors. Prices are okay but the gelato is delicious. They had walls full of toys and items for purchase which was nice too. The worst part? The store layout feels like one big hallway. It was busy when we went and it was hard to find a spot to stand because it felt tight. At the very end though they do have tables and it’s a little bigger. Also, if you want to purchase something that’s not gelato, you have to go to a different counter. This was confusing because they had signs by the gelato so we stood in line and then were told for those items we had to go somewhere else. But overall, it was a good spot to stop at.

The Ice cream was fine, not delicious but also not bad, but we were really bad treated which is the reason I don't plan to ever return. While I was buying the ice cream and in line to pay it, my girlfriends decided to go to the bathroom, the lady in the cashier was very rude to her and told her that she can't because bathrooms are just for customers. I understand that and my girlfriend pointed to her that we are costumers and I was in line to pay and she still said that we should pay first and then use the bathroom. For me this is an unacceptable way to treat guests and I will therefore buy ice cream in the many other great Ice Cream parlors that are available in the beautiful San Antonio.

While my family waited to order, I proceeded to the restroom towards the back, when a employee started shouting at me in front of everyone. When I turned and realized she was shouting at me, she then shouts that I need to make a purchase before using their restroom… that was unnecessary, and unprofessional. We decided not to order from there, and don’t plan to in the future.

I don’t normally write reviews but we’re very disappointed. This is our family tradition and since Covid they have not been serving pizza! It’s been disappointing since the new owners took over. We usually enjoy pizza, drinks and dessert in one setting with all the holiday lights downtown. Really sad to have to find a new tradition for my family every Christmas holiday season.
