Great options and nice outside area to eat, even decorated for Christmas. Tables/chairs and bathrooms.
This is not your typical shopping mall food court. The options are infinitely better and the price tag just a tad higher. If the weather permits, take your food to the outdoor plaza and people watch while you enjoy higher end ramen, burritos, and burgers. We arrived just before closing so the weather was cooler for outdoor dining. We loved watching the kids play in the water fountains while we lazed around with no one hovering over us to vacate our table. This area is a treasure and a must-see on your San Antonio to visit list.
We had the burgers. They were awesome. I love that they have a bar. Friendly and great customer service.
I get the chicken roti wrap with Marsala fries, and it is SO GOOD. I feel like this place has options for everyone, and the food is so full of flavor. Keep doing your thing!!\\nPS the ginger beer they have is some of the tastiest I’ve had stateside. It makes your nose tingle just like it should!
We loved our meal at Mi Roti. It came out quick and was massive. We grabbed a beverage from across the hall and sat outside and enjoyed people watching and eating our dinners. Ordering and pick up was super safe. The whole Pearl area is a great place. I loved seeing all the dogs.
Seriously... this whole area is the BEST place to visit, eat, drink, and just hang out at in San Antonio!! I stayed downtown on the Riverwalk, and everyday that I was here, I made it up to the Pearl district for food and drinks!! Everything about the area was just perfect! The ambiance, selection of eateries and shops. Just hanging out on the lawn area having a beverage was so relaxing. The restaurants around are a little pricey, but all totally worth it. The food hall has several options, and all were delicious (I said I was here everyday). The burgers, the southern chicken, the Caribbean food... all amazing! And the drinks.... wow! I highly recommend the prickly pear margarita, but the best hands down was the frozen blueberry lemonade with vodka!!! That drink was ordered every visit! If you’re not into the busy scene of downtown Riverwalk, please make your way up to this area.... it’s perfect!!!
Today I ate here for the very first time and I loved every bit of it. The flavor, the taste, the spice... *Chef's kiss* I forgot to take pictures of my meal (oops, my bad). ?\\n\\nI'm definitely going to be eating here again!!!
The Bottling Department Food Hall is pretty small by Food Hall standards - a half dozen or so food and beverage choices - but it's a good place to get a quick meal to site outside and soak up the good weather. It's also nice that each person in your party can choose what they want from any of the options. They have changed out the food vendors several times, so check in to see what vendors are there. To help with COVID, they've set up a system where you can sit at one of the outdoor tables in the central Pearl square and scan a QR code to bring up menus and to place an order. They'll bring your food out to you or you can go inside and pick it up. Or, just go inside the building if you feel comfortable with that, look at the options at each place and ask them questions before ordering whatever you want. You can also place orders for beer, cocktails, or other beverages. In addition to the limited tables inside the hall, there is an adjacent covered and partially enclosed space with tables, but the best seating is outside. Several of the food booths are underground famous local independents who put a smaller version of their food here. Check out the ramen and the jerk chicken roti places! When getting a local beer from the bar, get the "cup" which is actually a plastic cup that looks just like a pint glass but is disposable, so you can feel like you're having a real beer experience. Cons: the partially enclosed area that was added on is a bit awkward to get in and out of. The doors look like employee entrances, so many people have no idea that you can walk right in any of them, and circle the building looking for the entrance. The doors are also be a challenge to open when leaving with an plate and a drink.
The new ordering website is AMAZING. Scan the QR code at your table, and then place your order from as many different Bottling Company restaurants as you want, and they’ll BRING YOUR FOOD DIRECTLY TO YOUR TABLE.Everyone was wearing their mask, even outside, and there were tons of kids out playing and having a blast, as always. But the new website is a game changer. We’ll be back next Friday, and maybe before!
Ordered Jerk Chicken Bowl W/coconut rice and Masala Fries! Masala Fries were especially wonderful
