We can’t say enough about Fish City Grill! We had another EXCELLENT experience tonight with our server, Kam. She was friendly, attentive, and anticipated all of our needs. Each time we come to Fish City our service has always been top notch and the food has always been fantastic. We appreciate the atmosphere you create, the delicious food you serve, and the wonderful service you provide.

First time here, we were seated quickly and had our waitress, Zee, taking drink orders in no time. My wife decided on the salmon cake sandwich, my daughter the kid's fish sticks, my don the kid's burger, and I ordered the Alabama Catfish platter. Off the bat I was so happy waitress saw my indecision and let me order blackened and fried fillets! I still don't know which was better...but that fried fillet was so crispy and light & fluffy! My wife loved the salmon patty, but wished the bun would've been toasted on the grill a bit instead of just a bun. Same for my son's burger. Kid's fish sticks are a bargain for $5.99. Tasty, crispy and fresh! Calamari had perfectly seasoned beading and 2 different sauces for dipping. All in all, really great meal, and we will definitely be back!

Was first time my parents took me to have dinner there was fabulous love this place will be back for sure

My mom and I are in TX visiting my sister and nieces…took mom here for a belated Mother’s Day lunch. We were sat outside…no one came out to serve us and our new server Travis noticed we’d been sitting a while. He came out and apologized and offered soup on the house. I declined but mom got the crab bisque. She LOVED it and I appreciated Travis offering and being so attentive. Mom ordered the scallops and bacon wrapped shrimp meal, she also ordered the prickly pear Margarita and loved everything she ordered. I was DD so only water for me, but the bbq salmon tacos are underrated! They were made so perfectly with a nice crispy touch. Everything blended so perfectly. Travis was very attentive and observant and knew what we needed before even having to ask. The prices here are also very reasonable and great quality. I will most definitely return here and hopefully we get Travis again. 50% tip because to me, he definitely earned it! Check this place out if you haven’t!

Great food! Friendly staff. Quick service

Great seafood restaurant - found it on Google and decided to give it a try. We were very surprised at how good our dinners were. The crab stuffed flounder with mashed potatoes was excellent. The shrimp gumbo soup was also very good. The only complaint they were out of a few items in the menu. Our server was excellent.

I decided to check out the happy hour menu at this place during a weekday. I sat at the bar. The service lacked a bit of attention, eventhough there were only two people including myself at the bar. I ordered a half dozen gulf oysters and their signature cocktail Thyme Gimlet, which wasn't impressive. The margaritas were much better. Their draft beer was at the right temperature. The bread pudding was good and paired well with a shiner. They have good selection of seafood on their menu. Overall, the experience was pleasant. Check them out for yourself!! Try the oyster nachos!

This was our first time here. The staff was friendly, the service was great. This crispy calamri was exceptionally good. Hubby liked the oysters, I didn't eat any because I'm not a fan, in general. The beer battered cod was delicious with the lemon aioli but not good with the tarter sauce because the tarter sauce has sweet pickles in it and that was just an awful surprise. The shrimp was good, and the seasoned fries were yummy. The coleslaw was very bitter and underseasoned, definitely a lot of celery and bell pepper and not enough salt and vinegar. The hushpuppies were tasty but raw in the middle.

Where do I start about this place, hmm... the wait for a seat on Friday night wasn't bad at all. Our appetizers were very good. The oyster nachos, crab cake & chipotle honey shrimp were some good choices for appetizers, so I would recommend those 3. Our drinks we just ok nothing special. My food was not what I thought it would be, I was honestly a little disappointed because the tacos were very plain and did not taste all that great. My husband had the shrimp and grits and what a disappointment he said. My sister had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and she is the only one that seemed to enjoy her food. What was really very disappointing about this place was that on the inside of the restaurant they have a some chalkboards on the right side when you enter that has specials that are not listed on the regular menu and we had no clue about any special menu items until my husband asked the waiter if we could we sit inside because it was very cold outside and then we saw that they had some different food options. I mentioned it our waitress that we would have liked to know about the food specials but she didn't seem too enthusiastic about talking about it so she told us most of the specials were not available. Another disappointment about this place was the beignets; they were not at all beignets. They barely had any powdered sugar, and then it was topped with honey. But they were very, very, very crunchy, which made no sense at all. I really don't think I would try this place again nor would I tell anyone about it.

Our first time here, and we were impressed! Fast, friendly service. There is a blackboard wall menu with daily specials, as well as a delicious regular menu. I loved the seared scallops and bacon wrapped prawns, as well as our appetizers of a dozen very fresh oysters on the half shell and crispy calamari. Best we've had in Texas, and we are from the PNW! My new favorite drink was amazing, The Twisted Citrus Martini. We passed our compliments onto the bartender. Our server Sean was attentive and gregarious, with good suggestions. We chose to eat inside, but there is also seating outside that is open to the bar. We are looking forward to warm nights for dinner there!
