My first visit to fish city grill was fantastic! The drinks were strong and flavorful. NY wife and I each got a plate and both were absolutely perfect. I was surprised at how quickly we received our food during dinner hour. I would definitely recommend this place to couples looking for a nice date night
Shout out to Xavier, he sat us before closing and recommended some great food. Everything tasted delicious and the customer service was A+! Great outdoor sitting.
Fish City Grill has always been a fantastic place for seafood. Their consistency in providing delicious, quality and well portioned food items has never wavered. I hope they continue to thrive and increase their locations.
Close to a 4, I would go again. Very good Jambalaya, but my friends crawdads were great. I believe she had the next to hottest and they were definitely hot. Keylime pie was very good.
Great place to eat / relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Excellent menu. Service was superb. I have to say they had a snapper plate that was one of the best prepared snapper dishes I’ve ever had. It was really off the charts. Prices were very reasonable. Lew Smaihall really made us feel welcome. I highly recommend
The environment was great!. It was our first time here since my husband put this place on the list to try. We decided today was the day. The food was delicious, fresh and pleasing to the pallet. They also had live music which was perfect for valentines day. I enjoyed this place and for the first time my daughter finished all her food. Wonderful experience.
she went out of her way to show me the menu and specials, and even gave me a mini sample platter to try a few things. Food was excellent!
We've been here a few times and have had a decent experience but today was a miss on several dishes because the chef must have been heavy handed with salting the food. Also, the shrimp linguini which I liked a lot is no longer on the menu.I had the Citrus Martini to start which seemed to be the only consistent item. My husband had iced tea and my Dad had the rootbeer. i had a cup of the crab bisque, my husband had a side salad and we shared the chargrilled oysters. The oyster I had was quite rubbery. I had the lump crab cake as my entrée and the salad could use some dressing. My husband and Dad shared a pick 3 plate with catfish and 2 orders of the beer battered cod. The cod was decent but the fries were salty.Unfortunately a disappointing experience.
Great little seafood place. The staff was very friendly. Definitely worth the 30-minute wait. They have a very uncomplicated menu with enough choices to keep you satisfied. The beer battered Cod and fried shrimp were very good, as well as the salmon. The atmosphere was very relaxed and all the food was good. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a comfortable place to eat seafood
For being a chain this has a cozy small cafe feel. The handwritten chalkboard changes with weekly specials, today including a cornbread crusted rainbow trout. We elected to get the fish and chips as that is a standard dish. This did not disappoint. The fish was cooked but not over dry, the batter crispy, gold and light. The fries were perfect and everyone was crispy, not like it had say under a heat lamp at all.We attended around late lunch time on a holiday Monday. The restaurant was clean, about half full with three servers moving around the dining room and outdoor tables. The servers were attentive and refilled our water when needed and brought our check when requested. Honestly the wait time was minimal and I have no complaints as everyone was very pleasant. The fish tacos and raw oyster platters appeared to be popular and I'll most likely give those a try next trip cuz we will be back. Prices range from $15 for the fish and chip platter we had up to $40 for the snow crab platter. Prices seem fairly comparable to fair market seafood prices for the area.
