This is my first time at this location. I was not overly impressed. My son’s pork sausage was undercooked and oddly mushy on the inside. His blueberry waffles were very good though. I ordered a side of bacon which was barely done and so greasy that I had to use two napkins to soak the grease up. I would have had the waitress fix it, but it was often difficult to find her or get her attention. We received better customer service and assistance from one of the table busters, and we were very grateful to him for his assistance our ENTIRE visit. We ended up tipping him for be so attentive and kind. Our waitress forgot to bring my son’s applejuice, no straws, and forgot extra napkins among other things. She was very disengaged until she brought us the bill and became super talkative, and the restaurant had not been that busy.I ordered the shrimp and grits, which would have been perfect if my grits were more moist. They were pretty dry. My mom’s monterey (BLT I think) sandwich was good.I wish I could have given them a 5 star review, but one star off for the under and overcooked food, and another one for mediocre service from our waitress.

good food and atmosphere

I am not happy about paying so much just to get cold and burnt food. Why would you charge so much and not take pride in your food? How do you justify that? Please don't serve burnt bacon and tomatoes.. so disappointed that I couldn't enjoy my food.

They have a juice bar! I had a morning meditation and it was superb. To eat I had a roast beef and havarty it was so flavorful it was out of this world!

Came to San Antonio for a birthday trip with some friends, decided to try this place for the first time and grab some brunch. We waited 2 hours before we got our food and when we got our food the order was wrong. We were disappointed with how things were going for us considering this was our first time here. One of my friends ended up having to cancel her food because after the 2 hours she still hasn’t gotten her food. After all this, we go to the front to pay for the food we did receive. We leave and as we’re walking to our cars the waitress goes out of her way and runs outside to scream at us about how we didn’t tip her. Girl, tips are earned for great service which we DIDNT receive! You’re not entitled to a tip if you give poor service. But for her to go out of her way and harass customers is crazy unprofessional. If you wanna eat at this restaurant do yourself a favor and go to another location! UPDATE: one of the managers got into contact with me about the events that went on previously and apologized. Decided to give another location a try and everything was great from the managers and staff down to the food! Will definitely we going back when we are in town!

Friendly and accommodating staff. Our party of six easily and comfortably sat in an oversized booth. We all had different selections that were delicious.Personally I loved the light and airy waffle, so good! Bacon was perfectly cooked. Next time I visit San Antonio I will return. A must drink is the meditation juice.

Food was excellent and customer service was great

First time visit to First Watch. Place way busy/ lively. I was seated promptly, but it took a little while to get my food and drink order (busy). I ordered the Morning Meditation fresh juice, and the avacado toast. As soon as my food was brought out, I noticed a hair in my food. I immediately brought this up, and they replaced it promptly. First impressions sometimes can be a deal breaker, but I'd like to give this place a chance to try First Watch's culinary take on brunch. The fresh juice was delicious, and the avacado toast was a good and healthier choice menu item.

Upon arriving we noticed a long wait line; 45 minutes for two to be seated. Parking is constricted as the establishment shares a parking lot with Aloft, the hotel. Once seated our drink order wasn’t taken immediately. Took about 10 minutes to get coffee and a specialty juice ordered. Food was good but not as great as I’ve had at other First Watch establishments. They do have a great selection of healthy options.

Showed up to have Valentines Breakfast with my Wife we waited 30 minutes cuz I didn't know about on line waiting but the time went quickly Coffee was hot my Italian omelet was a little over done but wasn't trying to change the mood of the meal Server checked on us often Good experience
