Relatively nice, has some flaws. Well lit, clean tables and straight cues, plenty of space and seating. Nice bartender and acceptable top 40 type stuff on the jukebox.Food is so-so, served hot but definitely just frozen Sysco stuff tossed in a fryer. I'd plan to eat before or after for a meal, but might be worth snacking.I was charged more for entry than the rest of my party ($8 vs $5) who were all 21+ and there to play pool, for reasons I couldn't get a straight answer on. I was the only one who paid cash, but I was initially told that's not why. Oh well, I wasn't gonna let $3 spoil my evening.The floor manager (or maybe just a waitress) approached me while I was lining up a shot and told me not to 'lean on the table'; which struck me as particularly odd when she trotted off right past a couple straight up sitting on the next table chatting, not even playing. Not really sure what that was about, but it definitely gave me a weird feeling. Definitely the low point of my visit, and what tipped my hand into reviewing.Overall, a decent experience, but management and staff seem to be a mixed bag. Maybe through all the bedazzling on her eyelids that one gal mistook me for someone else... Either way I've got enough choice in town, I don't think I'll be going back.
Foos is okay. Bar food, nothing special. Went different times and depends on who you get service is okay or really good. Music is always great and shooting some pool is great. They have karaoke on Thursday.
Very nice pool hall in San Antonio. Went with my son after lunch. Observed for a bit and then got a table and played for a few hours. Very nice place, clean, nice service. Snack bar and bar on site. We only had drinks while there.
Love this place. I've been there 3 times, drive from Laredo just to play pool! The staff has always been great and so far no problems with others on regards to fighting or arguing. Can get crowded but everyone so far has been respectful to each other.
Was sent to this address for a doordash order(doordash had the wrong address on the app lol), the ladies were very nice about it but that wasn't my issue today, my issue was that my service dog was charged at by a aggressive "certified" service dog, ended up sending me into a episode in which my service dog missed the alert because of the dog.The manager did nothing despite being told she could legally remove a 'service dog' if it is acting inappropriately aka walking around freely off leash and acting in a aggressive mannerLuckily my service dog was not hurt otherwise I would have filed a lawsuit since the manager refused to remove the PET from the establishment.
Mens restroom has about a quarter inch of urine on the floor bu urinals, but if you are ok with that, staff was very friendly and food was great after having a few beers and shooting a dozen games of pool!
Came out yo see a friend shoot in a pool league, brought my son to have a little fun. We ended up playing darts and having a blast doing so, thanks for some great family safe fun.
My margarita had too much carbonated water, if that's even part of the ingredients. The beers were nice and code and if you're looking for food I suggest the french fries
Good drinks and service. Fun place to pay pool. Affordable.
Cool place I've gone to with friends since high school.. Has a bar, pool tables, darts and several televisions. Bartenders are always fast to take care of you.
